SOURCE: Wireless headset pairing

Hello,
With the Samsung WEP210 this is a common problem (which is actually just a user error)
This is what you do:
1. Of coarse make sure the headset is charged
2. Make sure the bluetooth headset if OFF
3. PRESS and HOLD the top/middle (on/off) button until the light stays on (it will blink then should stay on continuously). That means it is now in pairing mode.
4. Tell you phone to search for bluetooth devices.
5. It should find the headset, and by default type "0000" to pair your new headset**

**You can use whatever pin code you like......but I would recommend the default which is four zeros.

I have a portable wireless speaker model AWSBT7 will not go into the connect mode when pressing the button to sync up device I do not get the two beeps or the light does not flash faster

Hi Jerry, Are you using this method to pair your device?

Pairing
The Bluetooth-enabled device that you wish to stream audio to your speaker system must
fi rst be paired to the speaker. The process is simple, and in most cases the pairing process
needs to be done only once.
To pair your Bluetooth-enabled device with the speaker:
1. Make sure your device's Bluetooth is turned on. See the wireless and/or network settings
menu on your device to check.
2. If the speaker isn't already on, press the On-Off button to turn it on. You will hear a beep
to indicate the speaker is turned on. The indicator light on the back of the speaker starts
fl ashing blue.
3. Press and hold for 3 seconds the Pair button to enter pairing mode. You will hear 2 beeps
to indicate pairing mode is entered. The indicator on the back of the speaker starts blinking
faster.
4. Open the Bluetooth settings menu on your device. Select "AR SPEAKER" from the list of
devices available (you might have to scan for devices). If your device asks for a password,
enter "0000".
5. A confirmation screen will appear on your device once the speaker and the device are
successfully paired. The blue indicator turns solid blue to indicate successful connection.
The speaker is now ready for you to stream audio from your device.

My lg cu920 can't read my plantronic 220 what can i

Do you mean it "can" or can't connect to your CU920?
If your CU920 is already paired to a computer or other device this first pairing must be stopped before the steps below will work.
On the Bluetooth headset: 1. Turn your headset ON. 2. Hold down the headset power button until the power indicator light blinks an alternating red & blue.

Then using your CU920.... 3. Turn Bluetooth ON, 4. Search "New Device," 5. Under "devices found" select your headset. 6. Select "Add." The CU920 will ask for a passcode. 7. Enter "0000" (four zeros) the default for the Explorer 220.
The Plantronics earpiece should automatically "pair" with your CU920.

Headset not going into pairing mode.

Hold down round button on earbud for 5-6 seconds until the lights blink alternating red and blue.....then, enable your phone/device to connect in pairing mode. This will be a "find device" command or something similar. Once they recognize each other....it will send you a screen to enter a code. This will be 0000.....enter that...and once they pair...you are good to go.

Cannot place LG-HBM-710 in discoverable mode

It sounds as if the device is not paired with your Chocolate. Press and hold the button on the face of the HBM-710 headset for approximately five seconds, or until the light comes on and stays on steadily, then discover the device with your handset's Bluetooth screen. Once it shows up in the list of devices, select in and pair it with your phone.

I cant connect it to my lg shine i lost the manual

press left soft-key to go into menu, scroll down to menu number 9; bluetooth, check that bluetooth is switched on (1st submenu), 2nd submenu 'search for new device'. To add a new device, press the left soft key [New] 1. Select the [New] key to search the device that can be connected and which is within range. 2. If you want to stop searching, press the right soft key [Cancel]. At this moment you press and hold the big button on the headset (supposed it was off), until the little light stays blue fixed (not blinking !!! it will blink when it turns on but you hold the button pressed until the light stays on permanently !!). At this time the phone should give a message "device found" or even "H350 found" or it will say it didn't find anything and should it "scan again". if so select yes. 3. All of the devices found are displayed in the pop-up menu. Select the desired device by pressing the OK key, and entering the password 0000 (4 times zero). The permanent light on the headset should go off and blink once every couple of seconds. The phone and headset are now paired. when you switch the headset back on (after having it switched off) it will be automatically recognized.

The following procedure will re-establish the communication link between the Headphones and the Wireless adapter, this is called "pairing". Before you start please make sure both the headphones and the wireless adapter are fully charged and turned off.
Note: The headphones and the wireless adapter come pre-paired from the factory.
1. Press and hold the power button on the headphones. See Figure 1.

Figure 1

2. Continue to hold the button down until the LED starts flashing red/blue in an alternating pattern. Release the button when the LED starts flashing red/blue. See Figure 2.

3. Once the headphones LED is flashing red/blue, press and hold the power button on the wireless adapter. See Figure 3.

4. Hold down the button until the LED starts flashing red/blue in an alternating patter. The LED will blink blue, then turn off for a few seconds then blink red/blue. Release the button when the LED starts flashing red/blue. See Figure 4.
receiver-flash.gif
Figure 4
5. Once both the headphones LED and the adapter LED is blinking red/blue, press the volume up button once on the headphones. See Figure 5.
headphone-volumeup.jpg
Figure 5
Once the headphones is paired with the adapter, the LED on the headphones will blink blue once every two seconds. See Figure 6.
headphone-flash2.gif
Figure 6
When the adapter is paired the LED will be solid blue. See Figure 7.
receiversolid.jpg
Figure 7
The adapter may continue to blink red/blue for a few seconds even after the headphones LED starting blinking blue. This is normal; the adapter may take a few additional seconds before the LED turn solid blue.
Once the headphones and the adapter are paired, it is not necessary to pair them again even if the batteries on both units are completely drained.
Additional Note: Repeated pairing will not improve the sound quality or give the headphones and the adapter a cleaner connection.
