SOURCE: Hitachi 50UX26B no picture no sound

Because D953 and D954 go dim right away indicates a short in th +27v and -27v line. The most likely suspects are IK04, IK05 (convergence output IC1s). The other suspect is I601(vertical output chip)

SOURCE: I want to test an ecs rs 482-m mother board. Where

Hi,

The power, hdd led and reset switch pins are at the bottom right hand corner of the motherboard near the BIOS battery.

The connections are fairly easy to plug up to but not knowing what case you have or the connector plugs i'm going to give you a link to download the manual for this motherboard.

Just click on the link below and when the page has loaded up click on the "Downloads" tab and download the manual. The information you need is in section 12 under the header "Front Panel Connector"

UN60JS8000 Faulty Power Board or LED Strips?

It may take a little doing but if you could reverse the 2 wires that have the voltage on them and see if the top half is dark and bottom good, that would tell if its the power supply or panel LED's and yes opening up the panel isn't fun and if extreme care isn't taken the panel can be destroyed then the set is garbage.

My Hitachi tv will not turn on

My Hitachi used to eat Horizontal output transitors. I do not even know if your uinit has that anymore, but if that goes out the unit wont make the B+ voltage needed to power up the unit.

LG LED TV, model #50LB5900-UV has flickering screen. Need advice on part replacements.

It is a very common problem for LG LED TV, the problem is defective back lights LED strip. You need to open the display panel, find the burn out strips & replace it (them).

I have an LG 47LN522-UB LED TV that stopped working after three years and need help diagnosing a problem with it.

Check and replace damaged component/s at its back-light inverter board, or replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. It will be best to replace the inverter board as card basis. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ To some model sets; especially LED back-lighted types; the back-light inverter circuit will be part of the main power supply board [SMPS]. In such cases, the power supply board might need replacement. To some models sets, the back-light inverter and SMPS section circuit will be integrated at its main board itself. If so; the main board should be replaced. To some models of sets, all these section circuit will be integrated at its main board. If this is the case, you have to replace the main board.

The TV leds arent working

it should be relatively easy to test if you can get at the back of the LED board first Identify if they are series or parallel wired if they are series, if parallel wired there is full voltage across them all and a single burnt out led isn't the issue ( a burned trace could be depending on location). HOWEVER, the most likely problem is the LED driver, as this varies the brightness of the leds in relationship to the brightness setting of the TV. this is usually a part of another circuit.
