SOURCE: open heat error
"Open Heat Error" Means --- You need to make sure the voltage of the fuser is compatible with your printer.

First try turning the machine off and back on. If they error continues you most likely need to replace the fuser (part number 126N00265 for 110V U.S. or 126N00266 for the 220V U.K. version). ItemInc.com has these in stock and ships same day. Just open the rear door and unscrew the 4 screws using a phillips screw driver to remove it. Here is a video that shows you how.
