SOURCE: External Speed-Dial Default Lines

You have to remove line 4 from appearing on all of your phones.
Login to your system with Feature ** config.
Go to extensions find lines configuration, and set Line004 not in service on EACH extension.

SOURCE: I need help on my google account I don't have the phone number anymore I change my number so therefore I cannot get my security code and forgot my password to my gmail?

Hi
If you go through to this page:
Having trouble signing in
and click in the appropriate places - one of the pages has "I can't access this phone" button and clicking this takes you to a page where you can enter your recovery email address and an email will be sent there. If you didn't enter a recovery email address then also on this page is an option to "verify your identity" by answering multiple questions about your account. This should work.
Hope this is helpful, if so would you please register that with Fixya
Cheers

How can I change my google password when they want to send me a text to a number I don't own anymore?

First log into your account with the old password, and change the phone number to one that is owned by you, or someone you trust.

I HAVE A MFC3240C ALL IN 1 AND THE SCREEN IS READING "UNABLE TO CLEAN SEE MAINTENANCE CHAPTER" BUT I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO IN ORDER TO GET IT TO WORK ?

This error message means the machine has a mechanical problem -OR- a foreign obstacle, such as a clip or ripped paper, is in the machine.

Close the document support and the document tray. Open the top cover and remove any foreign obstacles from inside the machine. If the error message continues, please follow the steps below before disconnecting the machine so you will not lose any important messages. Then, disconnect the machine from the power source for several minutes (which will erase all faxes), and then reconnect it.

Check whether the machine has faxes in the memory

1. Press Menu/Set, 9, 0, 1.

2. If the machine has no faxes, disconnect the machine from the power source for several minutes, and then reconnect it.

-OR-

If faxes are present, you can transfer them to another fax machine. Go to Step 3.

-OR-

3. Enter the fax number to which faxes will be forwarded.

4. Press Black Start.

5. After the faxes are transferred, disconnect the machine from the power source for several minutes, and then reconnect it. You can transfer the Fax Journal report to another fax machine by pressing Menu/Set, 9, 0, 2 in Step1.

I CAN SEND FAXES BUT NOT RECIEVE

The majority of the time, when you can send but not receive, it is a phone line issue and not the machine. Extremely rare does a machine send and not receive. So here goes the things to try and the reason. 1, Make sure the phone jack is in the "Line" jack and not the external phone jack. Believe it or not, that is the number one issue with sending and not receiving.
Next, plug a phone into the jack that the fax machine is plugged into and see if there is static.
You want to be sure in the fax \settings and advanced settings that the ECM mode is ON, and that Junk Fax ius turned OFF, Junk Fax being on will stop almost all fax from comming in.
Now, the phone line. Here is the explaination of why that can be the problem. When you send a fax, you manually make the connection to the line. When you press send a relay flips and connectes you to the phone line, therefore you have made pretty much a mechanical connection enabling the phone line, and therefore you can send.
Now, when you have an incoming fax, several conditions must me met to make the handshake and therefore connect and receive. These all have to be right in order to properly receive. The phone line voltage mist be high enough, the phone line current must be correct and there can not be much decibel loss over the line. You are making a signal connection, all those conditions must be right to receive a fax. Think of it like a TV remote with batteries that are almost dead, It still send out some signal, but it will not change channels or change the volumn, etc etc. Same principle. If the signal to the incoming fax is weak, chances are it will not connect.

Richo 5510nf isn't sending the faxes to the pop server

First, disconnect the fax from the wall and any other device ( after powering down), let set about 30 sec to 1 min. and then only plug the power and phone line into device and power up. Try a hook ( like you are making a call) call to a known fax number, listen for the communication tones -- if they are there, hang up and try to send a fax to that same number. If the error continues you have a scanning problem with the device.

Will not fax

Hook a phone to the fax line and try to dial out... a fax line is no different than a phone line at your house ,, don't use a multi line phone like the ones at the office use a phone like you would have at the house to hook the the fax line .. If you are able to dial out call someone and check the line for static and pops they can cause the fax not to work either.. Good Luck

Outgoing fax never goes

Do you have the same problem with different numbers that you fax to? Are you usinga voip phone service? I use Vonage and have a lot of trouble with faxing. Call the number you are faxing to with a different phone and listen for a fax tone.
