Try to degauss the TV. It might be because of the magnetic interference and better avoid using devices which generate electromagnetic like Speakers, Cordless Phones, Microwave etc near the TV.

This is because of the magnetic interference, you better isolate the TV from the devices producing heavy magnetic interferences like Speakers Microwave, Cellphones and Cordless phones. Then go the main menu in that you will find setup option , in the setup option go to the picture setup you will find option called degauss just click on that, the screen will flash for a second and everything will be alright. Frequent degaussing is not advisable as it reduce the life of the projection tube.

Sounds like you have power saver turned on. Go into "display properties" under "control panel". Go to "screen saver" Check your "Power" settings. Un-check "Hibernate" or look and see power settings are and adjust accordingly. If they are all turned off, check your BIOS settings on your PC. It mights have a power saving feature in there.

It sounds to me like you're describing the re-trace of the unit. It is repairable, and more so the sooner you get it to the repair facility.
