Change ink color

first you have to drain the ink... to do this after making a master with a heavy image on it.
1. turn off the machine and start it up while holding left and right print position buttons. when machine starts up you will see a number ... press the c or stop or yellow clear to reset that to 0000.
2. place paper in the paper tray and enter 888 and press start.
3. the machine will start printing .. let it print jntil the image is very light and press stop.
4. press the c clear or stop button to reset display to 0000
5.place the new color you want into the drum and enter code 890 and perss start.
6. hold down the yellow reset button u til the machine restarts.
7. all done! but please note you will have color mixing and banding for a few thousnad copies until the old color gets purged, there is no way around this.

Home theatre system problem: the dc/ dvd part nbot working...the door is continuously opening and closiong automatically.... rest oder things working.. wat is d issue

Check the micro-switches that tell the player when the drawer is fully open, and fully closed.
You most likely have a bad switch, or one that's at least failing.
If there's a nib on the tray that's supposed to hit a switch, and it's broken off, this will cause the same issue.

I have a Pioneer CD/DVD Duplicator 8 drives. Recently no matter what disc I put in as the master. It tells me I have a mad Master Disc. Obviously all the media can't be bad. When this messgae pops...

The 3rd drive is the master now. If you want to change back to top drive, go to #8 "select source" and use up/down key change to " drive 1 " and save. for more detail, please read the user manual page 21 and 22.

For VPD system,if the top drive defected, the system should auto assign 2nd drive as source, but your system pick up 3rd drive as source drive, I suggest you check drive 1 and 2 before make copy.

Got a bizhub c550 and error code c-0206 came up and it just wont reboot or do anything. Help

This code means that your paper tray 3 is not lifting the paper properly. Usually this is because the paper is not loaded properly. Open then close the front door to reset the code then immediately open tray 3. Check to insure that the paper is loaded properly. I would remove all the paper and then re-load. Leave tray 3 open long enough to verify that the machine will warm up and make copies. Then close tray 3 and see if the code comes back. If not then you are good to go. If it comes back then there is a tray lift problem with tray 3 and it will need service. Open tray 3 and reset the machine again. You can leave tray 3 slightly open to at least be able to use the machine until it gets repaired.
Good Luck and Thank You for using Fixya.

Showing paper jam at master disposal NOTHING THERE

Remove the power cable from power source for few minutes. If its a temporary software issue it will get sorted out. Pull out master roll and reinsert it. Check wether you have properly inserted the master disposal tray or not. If these don't work ask for further assistance.

Targer drive not ready.

"Target overflow" just means that the disc being used to make the copy doesn't match in size. "4.7GB" to the master disc. Sometimes this occurs when you make a mistake thinking the disc in the copy slot is a DVD blank but it may be a CD-R blank(by accident) or sometimes the Master disc is a BD-R and trying to copy to a regular DVD-R (won't fit)

"Source drive not ready" is when the Master disc keeps spinning in the attempt to read. The "culprit" alot of times is the brand, or scratched, dirty, corrupted discs.
Make a copy of the master again (if possible and on your PC with a different brand of disc) then use the new Master to make the multi-discs you want.

"Target drive not ready"
is when a disc with information already on it, is in the copier (can't copy over it) sometimes we make mistakes and put the Master in the copier and vice versa : )
or no disc in it at all, and or some sort of incompatible blank media.

I have a 7 disc duplicator by Pioneer and I found that in the last few years since I've had it (since 2005)
I ran into the above situations alot.
I use it as a standalone (not hooked up to any PC etc)

It still works great but I find that was having a brand name issue with the discs; certain discs that it used to read in the Master/Source drive like Taiyo Yuden, Memorex, Ridata, SKMAX, and Phillips, suddenly don't want to read properly when inserted. The discs keeps spinning and then when you press "copy" it says "Target overflow" or "Source drive not ready" I found that solution I mentioned above with the changing of the disc brand helps fix the situation. I didn't want to hurt my brain trying to figure out what it could be as I use my duplicator for business and time is money.

Through trial and error I end up just making duplicates from my PC on different brands (cheaper unknown brands work fine) and then using the "new master" made from these is the only way I can duplicate..weird!

P.S sometimes the lens may need an old fashioned cleaning with a lens cleaner or Dust blower.

Once in a while one or two of the doors get stuck even when all 7 discs are completed...just take a q-tip with vaseline and put it on the track wheel for some lubrication and the door will open up easier.
Just some tips from someone who's had their player a long time

Hope this helps anyone in need out : )

Black smudge streaks on rightside of printed/copied material

Can only be two things the drum or the fuser. More than likely drum they last about 4 toners i think.

Learn the art of getting a page to stop halfway threw printing, you want to stop the page after the drum has put a image on the paper but before paper has gone threw the fuser (hotbit).

Once you have mastered the position correctly by stopping the printing by opening the door and removing drum/toner cartridge, to reveal the paper that is printed but can be rubbed off, we will know if marks are coming from the drum (you will see them) or from the fuser, if print is fine.
