Question about Electrolux Ovens
Prior to this recycle flashing today, the only oven cycle that would function for past few days is CONV BAKE. It didn't work on BAKE, CONV ROAST or BROIL.

I have just checked the baking guide in the manual and have found that it may not be us after all. (Maybe this is why they telll us to read the whole manual. Well, I never have) According to the cooking time for Baking, the range is very extensive. For example, an angel cake at 350 could take from 28-50 minutes, buscuits at 375-400 could take 8-16 minutes, layer cakes at 350-375 could take 25-40 minutes, pound cakes at 325-350 could take 45-70 minutes and fresh pies at 400-450 could take 35-60 minutes. Basically, the baking directions on the box means absolutely nothing to use Amana oven owners. We have no choice but to cook our food or baked goods until they are cooked, whenever that may be. :) Linda

SOURCE: I have an electrolux icon
yes, if the humming is not the loud sound then the fan may need some lubrication or if it is tripping the circuit it will need replacing , but if it seems like it is a viberating noise from the fan , then it could be that its bearings are bad , but the whole fan motor would still need to be replaced , but if it sounds like it just may be a loose fan motor , then tightening up the screws on the motor would stop the vibrating sound and or the fan blades from scraping metal( another sound you may be hearing )

This is a failure in the electronic range (or oven control) ERC or EOC. You can replace it with a new one, or have it repaired.

Tips for a great answer:
Hello Laurent, thank you for your post!
I see that you have removed your oven racks from your Electrolux oven and the lights continue to flash and not start. This could be a miscommunication within your oven and I would recommend performing as reset. You can reset your oven by flipping the circuit breaker off for at least ten minutes. If the reset does not help correct your issue it could be a problem with your sensor or control panel. We would then suggest having a professional technician out to perform a proper diagnosis to avoid any unnecessary part purchases. Best of luck! -Matt

Hello Thecarsons, thank you for your post!
I understand that the lock light on your Electrolux range keeps flashing and everything else is working properly. This could be a potential problem with your latch or control panel. I would recommend looking over the latch or strike for any visible damage. If you do not see any, I would suggest performing a reset on your range. You can reset your range by disconnecting the power cord or flipping the household circuit off for at least ten minutes. If that does not resolve your problem you may need to have a technician out to your home to provide a proper diagnosis and repair. This will help you avoid any unnecessary part purchases. -Matt
