I have a fix for this Melnor Model No 3015. You can you a razor knife and keep scoring around the whole thing along the seam line, and it will take you at least 35 minutes to get into it, but it will come apart. Mine (with new batteries) the display worked fine. All the buttons worked except the valve would not come on when I clicked manual on or off and if I programmed it to come on it would not open up the water valve. After getting apart (and note I had it all connected with the water pressure on and I had no leaks.) I think if your unit is leaking you will definitely need to open up your unit to see what actually is leaking. It could be that water was in it durin the winter months and froze it (thereby cracking the housing) as with my unit I manually was able to move the white small gear to manually open and close the valve. I then placed the metal connectors on the 9 volt battery and got it to switch at least a few times so I am thinking it just may nred to be lubed up??? Any suggestions??

It's made that way. The case is not meant to be opened, it's a sonic weld (melts the plastic together). It's meant to be a disposable device; it breaks throw it away and buy a new one. Also known as planned obsolesce.

Melnor 4 zone aqua timer dosent follow program

Water timers and Melnor timers last a year or two. They come with 1 year warranty for defects in workmanship.
Change batteries, reset timer if there is a reset protocol, buy another timer. Melnor, Orbit, are major brands. Gardena is not supported. Yardworks repackages other brands.
