SOURCE: canon iP 3300 printer service error 6502

CANON PIXMA IX IP 4000 - error 5100 and error 6502

While testing the printer the cover must be closed!
So if you have a CISS in your printer you have to close the cover after replacinq cartridge because after that
replacinq the printer is testinq the cartridges also with the blinkinq LEDS which are installed on the ink's!
There is a light LED sensor under the cover which detects the blinking.
So if you have destroyed the LED on chips or if you covered them with glue OR if you will leave the cover opened
and press cover-open detection button with a pen (then the day ambient light will come inside to cover)
you will get an error 6502 or error 5100. I think that the same error will come with all printers which use
CLI8 CLI-8 cartridges.
Remebre that the blinking led have to be clean and blink after installing new cartidge.

Other reason is that you mixed the chips ang give i.e. chip from yellow to blue and blue to i.e.red. and black to yello etc etc. (YOU MIXED THEM :) )
I hope it will help

SOURCE: Paper jam in a Kodak ESP- Printer

i had the printer jam issue when there wasnt a real printer jam.

if you push the print cartidges off to the right, then reach in and push down on the cleaning head that is located on the left on the inside, it pops back down into place and voila, printer jam error message fixed.

How do you open the rear door to fix a paper jam on a Kodak 5250 printer?

There are two plastic tips that you pinch inward at the lower back of the printer. A rectangular plastic piece will come out if you give it a god tug and you should be able to remove any jammed paper. I took mine off and never put it back on because it is aggravating to remove. I also had a problem of every 5-6 sheets of paper would not feed correctly through the printer and a paper jam notice would be displayed. I have all but remedied this too by stretching two heavy duty rubber band around the paper dispensing tray close to the bottom to provide more tension on the paper feeder itself. WORKS GREAT FOR ME! GOOD LUCK! Mine is a Kodak esp 3.2 but it paper jams a lot so maybe this will help you some as well?

My kodak printer esp 3.2 is giving me an error code 3533 paper jam but there is no paper jammed and when i put new paper in it, it still wont print and keeps giving me the same error code 3533

Turn off the printer and unplug it. Open the top access panel. Inside on the left you will see three round, white gears. Rotate the gear closest to the front back and forth with your finger. If any scraps of paper appear near the rollers, remove them. Close the top access panel. Plug in and start the printer. This worked for a Kodak ESP 3.2.

Paper jam code 3533

In removing the jam you have pulled aswitch in side loose . Usually a plastic black switch that will trigger this . It is inside and will need to be reset inplace.

I hit on mine several times and slammed it on the table a few more times and it cleared the jam. Seriously.

Esp 5250 error code 3528

Hello Shaheen,

Try this:

To resolve the error:
  1. Press the On/Off button on the printer control panel to turn off your printer.
  2. Wait 30 seconds.
  3. Press the On/Off button to turn on your printer.
If the error continues, double-check that all paper and foreign objects are removed from inside your printer.
NOTE: Even if you do not physically see a paper jam, you will need to follow the paper jam link to solve the error.

Kodak esp 5210 code error 3533 paper jam no paper in it

Leave the rear cover off, then spam the OK button if the error message remains on. I did that maybe 10 times in rapid succession, then hear a very distinctive CLICK in the back of the printer. I replaced the cover, the hit OK, the printer cycled through startup, and now it's operating normally.
