Question about The Office Equipment & Supplies

Open Question

Nozzle doesn't respond to remote. I tried the remote from another unit with the same result.

The nozzle stays in the all the way back position and won't move unless I cycle the remote all the way back several times then it might move to the center position. The nozzle will move so I don't think that is the problem. The nozzle will move so I don't think that is the problem.

SOURCE: Steam Nozzle

I've only had it fly off once.  I think I didn't put it all the way on.  Also make sure you clean the nozzle every time you use the steamer.  Milk will clog the nozzle otherwise.  My maker is right beside the sink and I rinse the nozzle immediately after steaming milk.  I also run it through the dishwasher at least weekly.  (This isn't a substitute for immediate clearing of the nozzle.)   A clogged nozzle will always blow off the end.

SOURCE: rug and floor nozzle brush not moving

What I had to do was take apart the vacuum head...which is very confusing, and the manual doesn't tell you how...the "secret" is to use a flat screwdriver to pop out the little wheels...there are two other screws "hidden" beneath them. Be careful as this exposes all the electrical parts as well - make sure you're unplugged! : )

Adjust the screw on the pressure regulator on the high pressure hose is one way The other is to check the nozzle for obstructions. The problem is that there is insufficient flow from the nozzle so the regulator valve is trying to cycle between cut off and working pressure.. The regulator is set at factory for a particular size nozzle and anything that alters that ratio will cause you problem. The screw on the regulator has some fine adjustment to allow for slight changes. Any impurities in the water supply will tend to block the nozzle affecting the regulator .

Steam wand doesn't work on sunbeam cafe series coffee machine

Have you tried cleaning the steam wand nozzle with a paperclip (or the pin tool mounted in the back door of the unit?

Milk deposits can make their way inside the nozzle and block it, describing the symptoms you're getting.

My unit is a little over 2 years old, and I cannot leave the power button in the on position on the main unti any more. The power was controlled by the vacuum power nozzle whether I was using the carpet...

Why can't you leave the power switch "on" ?

Does it stay running, ot does it not run at all?

if it stays on, the power probably isnt controlled by the power nozzle, but may be controlled by a door switch on the flapper doors where you insert the hose... Make sure all the "flapper doors" are completely shut, there's probably one stuck a little open I'm guessing...

Check nozzle. Do head cleaning procedure from epson status monitor. wait for 15 minutes. Check nozzle again. Compare results from first and second nozzle check. Print out will perfect if the result of nozzle check as good as display pattern in nozzle check dialog box.

Printer loss color (Epson C87)

Have you tried a cleaning cycle? If not, try one - right click the little printer icon in the bottom right corner of the screen and select clean).. Now run a nozzle check - right click the little printer icon in the bottom right corner of the screen and select nozzle check. Is there any sign of ink on the paper. Try up to three cleaning cycles. If ink is now flowing, but not yet perfectly, don't carry out any more cleaning cycles. Just leave the printer for 24 hours (to allow any air in the print head to disperse). Then repeat the cleaning cycle/wait process. It may take a while to restore a perfect nozzle check print. If these actions produce no positive results, report back.

If this advice is helpful, please rate it.
