Question about Computers & Internet

Open Question

I had a cellphone contract. We are now under debt review due to financial difficulties. We wanted to change from contract to pay-as-you-go as we were advice to do so now they cancelled our numbers.

We had our numbers for +-11 years and don't want to loose our numbers. Edwin O'Neill 0727949186 and 0721036571. Please advise what can we do so that Vodacom can give back/ re-instate our numbers please. They cancelled our numbers way before 3 months were over.

If I don't pay back my financial aid, how much will it affect my credit score?

All depends: could be just arrears that u may pay back after 1-2-3 month and you will be always beyond(unless you can manage to pay this in one go.. then if you still don't pay the creditor start to contact you to see if you can afford to repay this arrears if you still ignore or don't pay the creditors pass your account ( mean your loan, mortgage, credit card) to legal actioner to try to settle your debts so if you still avoid this step your account go in default and at this stage your credit score go down a lot and to improve your credit score will be so hard and will be long term ( I believe that a default will disappear from your credit score after 5-6 year so at this point as a says if you need help financially most lender will decline your application.

How do I write off bad debt

You can't write off bad debt but depending on what state you are in, it is illegal to try to collect a debt thats over 3 years old(North Carolina). You could try paying it off and if worse comes to worse. Claim Bankruptcy.

Need to get rid of my loan.

How bad it is? If you have a good salary to back you on paying the whole debt, then try consolidating your debts. With such a overview on this subject, no one can respond to your situation. Try contacting a financial adviser.

Does bill consolidation loans for bad credit really work?

If you have bad credit at that point you won't qualify for actual credit where you pay off your financial obligations with a loan from a bank as well as salary that back in month-to-month installments. Debt consolidation typically describes a high-risk practice of financial debt settlement: purposely skipping on your charge card to attempt to force your creditors to settle for less. Stay away from any sort of "financial debt consolidation" professional that guarantees to slash your financial debt as well as repayments in half with debt settlement deal ... This is a high-risk strategy of purposely stopping all payments to creditors as well as requiring your accounts into default to try settlements. You pay a monthly cost to a debt consolidator ... this entire fee goes to building a negotiation account as well as to the consolidator's charges to "settle" your accounts in the future. Your charge card business will deliberately not be paid so that all the accounts will default/charge-off so that they can try settlement deals at around 50 %. If you are present on your accounts, this process will definitely ruin your credit ranking for sure. Financial debt settlement is like a roll off the cubes with your financial resources ... You could never anticipate just how your creditors will answer the thoughtful skipping of your accounts ... they might settle at 50 % ... or they might serve you a summons, take you to court ... and if they earn, you might be considering wage garnishment.

What is a code for unlock

When you buy a contract phone from cellphone network company, they lock the phone so that your phone can only use there network while in most countries there are a few network suppliers to prevent monopolizing to keep prices competitive but unfortunately, these companies are allowed to lock the phones on to there own network to prevent you from going to another service provider with the phone you bought from them.My Personal opinion is that this practice is illegal as it prevents or sabotages competition in the market. To your detriment and financial costs you must pay them to give you the unlock codes for you to be able to use networks of your choice seeing that the cellphone belongs to you as you have bought it and they still try to prevent you from using your property where you want to. It is about time that authority `s ban this practice to prevent monopoly`s and further i say it is theft to make you pay to open your phone to use it where you want to. DEMOCRACY is the word.
