SOURCE: Ice maker is overflowing and causing icicles in

The adjustment screw is under the cover on the front of the is only a very small adjustment and by adjusting it very likely it will have no bearing on stopping the icicles from forming on the i/m but instead what the problem is,is the water inlet valve is not fully closing. This tip i wrote covers the problem with the water valve and why its causing icicles in the freezer.

Kscs25fkss00 ice maker leaking when making ice, water seems to flow over the top

Did you check to see if the ice maker has been changed prior to this problem and if so was it a correct replacement for this refer by model #? Has the module been changed? Again, correct part ? Is the water adjustment screw on the module incorrectly set ? The last question to your problem is, has hard water conditions caused the mold to become rough due to the coating separating from the metal ? This causes the water to not flow correctly into the total mold . Hope this helps a little.

Ice thickness control

The ice thicknes control is located on the bottom left. it has a wire going
to it and ha a black rubber bottom. depending on the position it is secured.
will determine the ice thickness. loosen the two screws and push it higher
for smaller cubes and lower for bigger. If you are having problems with it.
There is the possibility it is dirty and sticking.

You need to descale the water circuit according to manufactures instructions. Scale build up keeps the ice from releasing during harvest cycle. If overall ice thickness is to thick, rotate the ice bridge thickness screw at the top of the platen countercloclwise about 1/8 of a turn max between freeze cycles until desired thickness obtained. If you do not know the correct descale solution alway use a nickel safe descaling solution.

If it's the one on the front of the evaporator, there is a screw that increases / decreases the thickness. Make sure all the plastics are in correct positions etc, first. turn screw in or out until the metal part of the sensor is 3/16" away from the front of the evaporator plate to give a 1/8" bridge.

JSI-26 icemaker leaking water

You're ice maker is located on the left hand side of the freezer, if I'm correct.
Look to the back of the freezer slightly above the ice maker and you will see what they call the fill tube. Chances are ice has formed inside and when the ice maker goes to fill water sprays instead of flows out. In some models you can take the fill tube out from the back by removing two screws that hold it in, located at the upper right side if your behind it, and some you may have to pull out from inside.

Refrigerator stop working

Inspect the unit inside at the back where you have a metal panel. Feel the back of it if it has ice build up. If there is unplug the unit and start removing the ice. The thermostat may have been frozen. You may loosen up the screws for better access. This is a good chance to clean it up. The ice build up may be caused by water not flowing correctly due to clogged drains.

Other than this this may be problem with your thermostat. It is usually located near or at the back panel described earlier. You may need to have it tested.

My Manitowoc Ice machine is making ice slowly and the ice squares are sticking together. How can i adjust or fix the problem?

You're bridge thickness is set to high, lower the bridge on the sensor located when you open the front door behind the water curtain on the top. If the sensor is scaled badly replace it.

turn the screw on the ice sensor IN or clockwise about 1/8 turn at a time till you get the right thickness...give it a couple of dumps before making another adjustment after doing the first careful as the sensor is very sensitive and can be knocked out of wack very easily...

Ice stuck together when falls into hopper;not seperating for disp

I believe your ice maker has an electronic control module located in the front and just behind the front cover. Below is a view and number one in the picture is that module. Unplug refrigerator and carefully remove the ice maker and its front cover to expose the module. If corrosion or signs of burn marks the complete new replacement would. By chance if yours has a set screw you may be able to adjust the screw to shorten the time the water flows into ice maker. This is the part you will need to replace if the module is defective. Part number D7824706Q You also can unplug the ice maker dual water control valve on back and near floor on back of your refrigerator. The water control valve may be defective and letting water to continue to flow to the ice maker while off. If you need to contact me my email is

You also can click on the links below and go to the search feature or part number and enter the part number and click find it. If you have any questions I am here or you can email me, Thanks Sea Breeze
