We want to divide the top and bottom numbers by the largest possible number to make the numerator and denominator the smallest possible. We can determine that number by factoring both 192 000 and 650 and see what the biggest common factor is. Another approach is to simplify it step by step.

Let's try the step-by-step method.

Since both end in 0, let's divide both by 10.

19 200 : 65

Since they both end with 0 or 5, we can divide both by 5

3 840 : 13

Since 13 is prime (its only factors are 1 and 13) and 13 doesn't go evenly into 3 840, we cannot go any further.

Good luck,

Paul

SOURCE: how to simplify ratios using scientific calculator fx-991ms

If you enter the ratios using the fraction entry key ( [a b/c] the results will be displayed as fractions. And when the calculator displays fractions they are always in their reduced form.
In general, when you are manipulating fractions ( Pi/2 is no a fraction even if you write it as one) you can try to simplify them by looking for the greatest common factor (GCF) of the numerator and denominator. When you simplify by the GCF the fraction that is left is in its reduced form.

To tringles are similar and they want to find the ratio from the height to the base? the first tringle has the height of 6 and the base 8 and the second tringle has the height of 3 and the base 4

That ratio is 3/4, height/base, in both triangles. Is that what you mean?

Ratios are normally expressed as a fraction, not a decimal.

Solve: 7(3x+5) = 8x - (1-4x)?

Let's rewrite as

7(3x+5) = 8x -1(1-4x)
Let's distribute
21x + 35 = 8x -1 + 4x
collect like terms
21x + 35 = 12x -1
Put all the x's on one side by subtracting 12x from both sides
21x -12x + 35 = 12x -1 -12x
simplify
9x + 35 = -1
get all the constants on the right side
9x + 35 - 35 = -1 - 35
9x = -36
divide both sides by 9 to get x by itself
9x /9 = -36/9
x = -4

check in original equation

7(3(-4)+5) = 8(-4) -(1-4(-4))
7(-12+5) = -32 - (1+16)
7 (-7) = -32 - (17)
-49 = -32-17
-49 = -49
