Since pitting a new hard drive in as the other had

Since putting a new hard drive in as the other had been trojaned I have had 614 requests for GUI%GUICONFIG#SNBENABLEOTHER#ALLOW-TCP. As the old hard drive had been used to transfer images and videos (all encrypted) I am quite concerned as these requests are from all over the world

As you have apparently been the victim of a trojan in the past (although it didn't neccessarily mean you needed a change of HDD) you are quite right in your concern.

I do not know what the request refers to even though I've searched security sites for information on it, however follow the steps below for your own peace of mind.

Go here

http://housecall.trendmicro.com/uk/ and carry out an online scan (you will have to download an activex component but Trend Micro is a trusted security company) The length of time for the scan depends on several factors, speed of internet connection, speed of PC and size of HDD. Any malware found can be cleard at the click of a button and will be self explanatory.

Next go here and download Malwarebytes (the free version) install and run.
http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php

Finally and MOST IMPORTANT ensure that whichever anti virus software you have installed is up to date and run a scan on a regular basis.

Please note Housecall and Malwarebytes are NOT replacements for anti virus software and do not offer real time protection.

I will be happy to provide you with recommended security software if you wish just email me on pippincp@msn.com

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

How do I access the backup hard drive with CCleaner or other virus removal tool. I have a Trojan.Generic.9523368 which gets detected and quarantined.

First of all - if it says "Trojan. Generic" it does not have to be a malicious program, it could be some kind of an .exe that your virus protection programm don't recognized. I have also seen things like key generators or keys that came with a program that was downloaded from some torrent site being called a trojan.
Try a program called "Advanced System Care" or the "Combofix".
There should be a free trial available for both.

Spyware Protection screens keep popping up; saying that the computer is infected with different Trogans and viruses....and also requesting that you activate Spyware Protection to protect your computer. ...

Take note of the exact message you are getting and, preferably on a different computer, enter that message in a search window inside of quotes. The message you are getting is FROM the Trojan; you are already infected and you will need instructions on the removal. Entering the precise message will most likely identify the specific Trojan you have. Worst case, you may have to format your hard drive and re-install the operating system.

Dear sir, We faced four times trojan problom and lost havi data from laptop so plese advice me how to protect trojan virus?

Hi,

Which Operating System you are using and which Anti Virus (AV) software is installed on your PC? Please let me know.
If your PC doesn't have an Anti Virus software I request you to install it soon. There are many AV available on the website, you can purchase a good one or you can use a trial version for few months and upgrade. I request you to update the AV daily.
Before using the USB flash drive do a scan with your AV that helps to detect and remove the Virus from the USB.
If the Trojan is enter on your PC (mainly on WINDOWS folder) its difficult to remove, so clean the PC with AV software once in a week.

Please let me know for further assistance.

I have trojan like which can affect my laptop hack password take out my credit card details.

Have you got an anti-virus program?
If you have did it remove this trojan virus?
If you have not an anti-virus program or the program cannot remove this trojan, then I recommend you format the hard drive and reinstall Windows, the laptop device drivers and your programs.
This is the only sure way to remove such a threat.
Although this is a drastic method, it is better to be sure you do not lose your money to crooks. After installing Windows, install a good quality anti-virus program and keep the virus definition files updated regularly.
