Question about Axsion AXN6070 Portable DVD Player
MY KIDS EACH HAD AN INDIVIDUAL LITTLE 3.6 LCD AXION DVD PLAYER FOR ROAD TRIPS. THEY WERE AWESOME...TILL THEY STOPPED PLAYING DVD'S AND NOW WON'T HOLD A CHARGE, WON'T RECHARGE SO I CAN'T TURN IT ON!
I DON'T JUST WANNA THROW THEM OUT, WHAT DO I DO?
Do not throught away they just need new battery if has adapter plug in use newest cd u own first take qtip and achol dip q tip n achol blow exces fluid oped cd cadge very very gently wipe laser with wet q tip do no pres hard the use dry end to shine laser will work like new hope this helps u good luck new batt /// battery.com wont charge because a r worn out they only last about 9 12 mounths

Please try to put in an ordinary audio CD track and see if this is detected. If yes the optical is working, if not there is no laser scanning and the possibility of the head being faulty is high.
It is best is to cleaning manually the laser head eye with a cotton bud using gentle pressure without pressing the lens eye.
If there is no result then it is possible that the optical head unit is faulty.
