Don't even know the model of this register but it's pretty old. Want to reprint the "Z" report from a week ago. I remember vaguely, used to be # key but don't even remember which key it is.

Is it possible to reprint a financial report (ie end-of-day register printout) for a specific past date on a SAM4S ER-265?

You would have to use the journal (if it isn't too long ago). Look up electronic journal print (A.K.A EJ) in your manual and make sure you have a fresh paper roll in the machine when you print it. It holds the last few thousand transactions and reports.
If you need the manual, ctech has it https://the-checkout-tech.com/manuals/cashregisters/Samsung_ER-265_operating_and_programming_manual.html

Reprint x1/z1 on EX-A22H

if you have printed a Z report, it has already been cleared. You may be able to get it from the electronic journal though.Try this:
Turn key to X1/Z1 mode.Make sure you have lots of paper left on your roll. If you are not sure, place a fresh roll in the machine since you don't want to run out during this print.Type 700 @/FOR CASH.On euro models, it is 700 X TL or 700 X CASH.This will print the journal which contains all of the last few thousand lines and reports.Good luck.

I have a casio PCR-T2000 cash register, and i want to know if there is a way to reprint a Z report (or close of business day sales) from a few days ago. our paper copy has been mangled beyond readability...

It is lucky you have a double roll machine. All you need to do is unwind the journal takeup spool and find the report you need. if you need another copy, just photocopy that position on the roll. Problem solved :-) -----------------------------------------------------------------------
If anyone needs more information, the casio PCR-T2000 manual is here: http://the-checkout-tech.com/manuals/cashregisters/Casio3.php

Using an HP 8560MFP, how can I reprint a previous fax from a few weeks ago?

I have had little luck recovering old faxes from MFP printers, most do not have an internal hard drive, unless they are the bigger leased copier style units, and even then its a extra feature, Normally on these type machines faxes are stored to RAM which is temporary and cleared often. Though most machines will reprint the last job, because its still retrievable from memory. Not much of a solution, but this is my experience. cheers

How do i get a activity report printout from two weeks ago? It has already been printed at that time, but someone diposed of it. Is there any way i can get a new report, or are we just plumb out of luck?

Far as I know you can access every report since machine was purchased. Just go into menu as you would for current report printout. There should be an option there to REPRINT PREVIOUS reports or ARCHIVES. Choose the one you're looking for and VIOLA.

Hope this info was helpful to you. Good Luck!

My daughter spilled juice on some of the keys and they are now sticking. Can this be cleaned? She did not say anything so this is 24 hours ago.

Hi Debra!

I have run into this problem a few times (coffee is necessary for those late nights and the sugar and cream dont seem to interact well with they keyboard, whodathought?)

I know this might sound absurd at first, but I have followed some advice I read on a couple sites a number of years ago. In fact, I even found one of the same articles that gave me the courage to put my keyboard in the dishwasher to clean it. I know it sounds scary, but really, there are no mechanical parts that would be hurt in the process. It is a lot of plastic and personally, I have done it dozens of times without a problem. Check out what Scott says over at BoingBoing:

"I can report that not only will the keyboard come out clean, but it will probably work once it dries completely. Every key on the keyboard works and feels just right - the Caps Lock light even works! This ‘hack’ is not for the weakhearted, and I would probably avoid putting a $100+ keyboard in the dishwasher. But if you don’t have any other options, it’s a pretty good bet."

BUT,

If you don't feel comfortable with that, you are always welcome to do it the old fashioned way. Get some QTips and isopropyl alcohol. Start carefully popping off each key (just try to remember where they go back!) and cleaning the inside square where the bottom of the key touches the plastic receiver. It is a bit tedious but might be less stressful than tossing out your keyboard.

I really hope this helps!

Casio TE-4500F cash register scaning problem

There are several things you will need to do. In the I/O program you must tell it where and how the scanner is set up and then you will have to program the scanner itself. I know this will solve it. I need to know the make and model of scanner
