Yes. There are actually two different forms of calcium supplement:
calcium carbonate and calcium citrate. Calcium carbonate is the cheaper one of
the two and should be taken with food. Calcium citrate can be taken on an empty
stomach and is absorbed well for people who have low levels of stomach acid.
