Question about Motorola Mobility V505 Cellular Phone

1 Answer

Initial setup, no user guide

I had been using a Moto V300 with T-Mobile, but just bought a Moto V505 and want to use that with prepaid T-Mobile (at which point I'll discontinue my contract). I put the SIM from the V300 into the V505, but don't see T-Mobile anywhere.
There is "mMode" at the bottom of the first page -- what's that?
Do I have to go through manually registering with "Voicestream" every time I turn on my phone? Why does it still say "Voicestream" when it said "T-Mobile" on the V300?

Re: initial setup, no user guide

If this is a screen display I would not worry
these are pre embeded by the supplier for the provider.
If all other features on the phone are working you should be fine

How to reset my moto L6 phone i tried the code ...but not exactly know to use it

you would have to do a master clear of the phone's memory which will ease everything on the phone as if you just bought it.
press the menu key, scroll down to initial setup , master clear - enter the default security code 000000

Initial setup wont work

you need to have the phone's firmware reflash so take it to a mobile service center and have that done.
