Question about Akai Televison & Video
You need to get into the setup menu for the TV and find a section that allows you to select between settings something like "Broadcast", "TV", "Cable", etc. Be sure that "Cable" is selected.
Some remotes have button(s) for "Cable" and "TV". Unfortunately, it's common to accidentally switch modes when this is the case. Take a quick look and if you have a "Cable" button hit it once and see if that helps.
Sorry I can't be more specific not knowing what type of TV you are using specifically. The exact solution will vary a lot from one make and model to another.
