Fault at its main digital board. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts.

In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.

Gateway lcd monitor hx2000 hit by lightning how do

Replace the motherboard. It will be cheaper to replace the monitor. If an item of electronic equipment gets hit by over 100,000 volts it is dead, not just having a rest.

TV hit by lightning. Will Best Buy replace without questions?

Ask and see but I would not mention the lightening---if its 3 months old the LG warranty should cover the repair or replacement.

They will not know at all it was lightening unless you tell them.

"This thing just stopped working" they will either get it fixed or get you a replacement set.

Low beam headlight don't go off ever. car was hit by lightning need to know what wire triggers the relay may have went to ground? Haft to pull fuse or relay to get them to go of now. all other lights work...

Have you tried just replacing the relay with a new one? Possible the relay is stuck in a closed circuit position from the lightning, causing them to be on constantly. Just a thought.

Lightning strike

Lightning hits do some nasty damage to electronics.
Alot of times that type of repair is part of an insurance claim. The insurance company requires estimates and will repair them up to the cost of replacement.

If you arent dealing with an insurance claim on this I'd still recommend a professional estimate.
Lightning damage sometimes is confined to the power supply and once repaired could be fine bit in my experience most items that take a nasty hit are a write off.
