Question about LG Ovens
I asked a question of another tech and his abridged answer was not helpful. I have taken the PCB OR electronic control board out and visually inspected it. The two fuses are visually perfect. No burns, no blackened areas on the glass and no burnt parts on the board. Also, the board itself is not burnt. Can the PCB be damaged without any visuall sign? The breaker and the outlet have power.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

If the display is totally out it is likely the thermal fuse this is located where the wire connectors plug into the board it looks like a small resistor in a platic shrinkwrap type sleeve. test it with a continuity meter.

SOURCE: oven won't heat
Unplug the power cord for thirty minutes, this should reset the oven.
If this still does not work do the following:
Press clean and then cancel. This will reset the appliance.
If the error does not clear , then during the self cleaning cycle, the high temperature has probably damaged the temperature sensor probe, and it must be replaced.

Hi, well this is a brain tester!! I think you need really to look at this in a simple way. Check to see where the door lock wires come from first? Find where the mains power comes into? then if it goes directly to the main control board then check to see if there is any power getting through the board to the otherside where the wires disapear into the cooker. I would consider checking the control board for any signs of burn damage and then look at the clock unit to as these are normally the main components in the cooker that will stop it from working.

Stuck keypad may mean relay is turned on.
Determine if problem is with the Key Panel or Control by:
1. Pushing CLEAR/OFF pad.
2. Disconnecting Ribbon Cable from control and waiting at least 32 seconds to see if Code recurs
If code recurs, problem is in the control. Replace control.
If code does not recur, problem is with the Key Panel.
