SOURCE: need new chain for remington pole saw, model

It should, I have been on this earth to long for a definate answer. Both saws have 40 drive links, are 3/8s, and a gauge of 0.050. Please verify my findings here:
Oregon Bar & Chain Selector
http://www.oregonchain.com/pro/lookups/selguide.aspx?BusId=OCS&SellReg=USA&LangId=ENG

Have you contacted a local saw shop? With your chain as a pattern they can make a replacement in couple of minutes. Inquire by phone about a price you may be pleasantly surprised. Give them Oregon number 91VG040G (low kickback, most likely what your saw is fitted with). If you feel adept you might try a slightly more agressive chain but the odds of kick back increase. HTH

SOURCE: Have a Remington Electric Pole Saw Model 075081

Remington Saws have discontinued operations, and any available parts for the saws require diligent searching on the web. These saws seem to eat motor brushes for lunch, and nearly every owner is looking for brushes as well. Your best bet is to try finding a similar brush from a different tool that might fit. Look to any power tool repair facility for whatever help you can get. A small company making replacement brushes would seem to be a lucrative enterprise. Good luck!

Hi Anonymous.

Fixya is not a retail area, so there will not be parts here. If you use a search engine to put in your particular make and model of saw along with 'replacement parts ' i.e. 'McCullogh 3250 16" Replacement Parts' with your saw model subbed for the McCullogh part, there are plenty of places selling parts, usually with exploded views of the saw so you can trace down which exact part it is that you need.

If the whole assembly is bent, and not just the peg, please consider taking the saw to a professional. A chainsaw is not something you ever want to operate with damaged parts. Terrifying injury or death are real possibilities of a sharp chain, with or without saw attached, jumping off in an unexpected direction. The peg may not be a big deal to fix, but, lacking the fine detail on my end, I just want to underscore that this is something to take a lot of care and caution with.

Good Luck

McCulloch electric pole chain saw manual model 1510

McCulloch Manuals
Illustrated Parts Lists: (IPLs) are fairly simple, on the underside of McCulloch saws is a black and yellow tag; the upper number (“Power Mac 320” 600021H) is the model, below it a serial number (11-18555). These 2 numbers are combined to create an IPL number (“Power Mac 320” IPL number = 11-600021H). The IPL number can be used to find the correct IPL for every McCulloch parts supplier I have found. If the parts supplier only list part numbers the proper IPL is the source for the part number.
Operators Manuals: are much more difficult. I have dialed this number many times (Contact Us - All McCulloch Products 1 (800) 521-8559) and have yet to get a satisfactory response. Please try this! If enough of us try they will fix it! HTH

Please stress to phone person it is an electric.
