SOURCE: Low voltage light flashing

I haven't worked on one of them in years but I looked at a breakdown and the parts are as I remember. Go to and under parts/service type in your model number and view the wiring diagram for an operational check procedure. I would first look at the cord and is the base sitting on 1/2 or greater plate steel. If rusted or painted you will loose some of the holding force. Also I don't know what motor you have but some of the larger units require a lot of amps to operate and it is possible that even though you plugged it in direct to wall the circuit wasn't sufficient to operate both units. Last resort call the tech dept. at Milwaukee and see if they have any ideas. That panel is a component part as you know and there were no replacement parts for it. Hope this helps if not let me know and I will do some more checking

SOURCE: laptop battery charge indicator flashing amber and green

If the battery is hot from being used in your computer or being in a hot environment, the battery may not charge when you connect the computer to an electrical outlet. The battery is too hot to start charging if the batter15.jpg light flashes alternately orange and green. Disconnect the computer from the electrical outlet and allow the computer and the battery to cool to room temperature. Then connect the computer to an electrical outlet to continue charging the battery.

Battery not charging

You didn't indicate the make and model number of your tool, but almost universally, all lights flashing on a charger indicate a bad battery. If the system in the charger detects that the battery has a short, bad cell or anything else wrong, it will not attempt to charge the battery.

NiCad batteries have this problem when they are recharged frequently after being only partially discharged. This is also the case when the batteries are left in the charger continuously - even if the charger is described as being "automatic". I have old 12v batteries that I have been using for 20 years, but I only charge them for a few hours, and only when they have run down enough to be useless. I prevent leaving them too long in the charger by using a timer that cuts the power to the charger after a couple of hours. A couple of years ago I bought new drills and chargers, and believed that the chargers would be automatic and so could be left plugged in. Those batteries only lasted a couple of years, while the old ones are still going strong. I now use the timer for any of these chargers, automatic or not - but I had to buy new batteries first. good luck, Al K

Worx cordless drill battery pack wont hold a charge at all its about 3 years old

If it is a Nickel cadmium battery, it has probably developed "memory" - that means it becomes used to partial discharge and the capacity has gone down.

You can partially revive it by deep cycling a couple of times, like this:

1) run the drill till it stops (can tape the trigger on, if necessary)

2) recharge fully

Repeat steps 1 and 2 , after that the battery should hold the charge a bit better. These rechargeable batteries do wear out eventually. Lithium Ion batteries are better than the Nickel Cadmium.

14.4 volt cordless drill --- yelloow and green light on lo0nger than 15 minutes, cannot find user manual.

The battery will no longer take a charge. Time for a new one. I had 2 like this in the last month. The batteries where 5 years old and been charge for over 800 cycles each. Age and cycles will wear them out.

If the tools is still good jsut get new batteries. But check the prices. I just bought a new drill and saw set for $90 and 2 new batteries were $60. I got a new set, since the drill was 8 years old and worn out.

I would go to their website and check on their warranty policy. These units have reports of having bad chargers and batteries. New batteries don't always cure the problem. The manufacturer for these parts seems to have dropped the ball . Test the output of the charger when plugged in with a voltmeter. That will tell you if it is putting out the proper voltage as stated on it to charge a battery. Also, check the voltage of all your batteries; before, during, and after use. This will let you know the true culprit. After time, chargers fail due to the excessive heat they produce. A voltmeter is inexpensive and Wal Mart has them.,,,Radio Shack...etc

I would get the phone number of the place you bought the trimmer from your discover card bill if you do not have the phone number somewhere else. Then call the company which you bought the trimmer from. Chances are the machine is under warrenty and they will give you a new battery or whatever the machine needs.

The charging light flashes alternately in green and red color, charging is not possible.

You have defective batteries. Either they are old and used and can no longer take a charge and should be replaced, or they have a problem not allowing them to be charged.

If batteries are new, seek replacements. If old, time to buy new batteries.

If this happens with several batteries, and even new ones, your charger my be faulty.
