I refilled my ink cartridge and put it back in but it still says ink is at 0%. I took it out several times, looked to make sure I had the tape off and put it back it. I even restarted and unplugged...

These new printers register and memorize ink cartridges so that they cannot be refilled the only way to refill them is to never let then run to zero percent once they reach zero the printer prevents them from operating if you do catch them before they rundow they will still run down to nothing but will continue to operate as long as you donot let them run out of ink.

Thumbs Up if Helpful also feedback is appreciated!!!

After replacing my ink cartridge ,now it register

If the cartridge tape covering the ink dispenser and the cartridge is properly seated in the transport, the chances are that the cartridge is defective. If you are using aftermarket or refilled cartridge, replace it with a new OEM cartridge should clear the problem. I would try the OEM method first to make sure that something else is not wrong. If the OEM cartridge works, return the faulty cartridge for a replacement or refund.
Let me know if this works. Thanks.

Refilled my lexmark cartridges but still dont work

14 and 15 won't work after refill. You can only refill 14A and 15A.
But even when you refill those, the printer will keep telling you they are empty, which is normal, neither the printer nor the computer can know that you have refilled your cartridges. The devices see cartridges by their serial number, so it resets the counter only when you pop in a new cartridge. They are ways to bypass that by resetting the ink level: use clear tape over the left hand row of sensors on the front of the cartridge and re-insert it. The ink now shows with question mark but reads as full and prints fine. You actually "fool" the printer into thinking you have put a different cartridge. This works with some printers, so I am not 100% sure it will work with yours.

Refill ink for Lexmark X4850

I have a couple questions for you.
1. Is your cartidge 42 or 42A? The 42 cartridge will not work if you refill it. I learned that the hard way after paying to have it refilled and I got it home and it would not print. If you are using the 42A refillable cartridge, your ink levels will not reset. I called lexmark to ask them after not bieng able to find any answers online. He said that because I am using the 42A, it will print but will not register the level. The only downside is I have to keep an eye out for fading so that I do not ruin the printer heads.

I hoped this helped.

Canon mp 530 error u043 cant get rid of it

It is registering a empty ink cartridge. If you had the cartridge refilled instea of replacing the cartridge that is what happened. The chip on the cartridge wont register the refilled ink and tells the printer it is empty.

Canon inkjet printer CLI821 how to reset and work after refill

Inkjet printers in general remember around 3 or 4 cartridges that have been installed in the past. One way to fool the printer is to swap a number of different old cartridges and then put the refilled one back in. Another way is to put clear tape over the connector and install the cartridge, cycle the power and then remove the tape.Personally I don't worry about the nagging and tell the driver to just continue printing anyway. It eventually gives up the nagging... LOL

Black spool that holds tape is broken

Hi.
They tend to be different in each model, so you would need to purchase one from a Casio dealer for that model. either lookup a CAsio dealer in your phone book, or online and tell them you need a paper takeup spool.

Ink cartridge light keeps blinking BEWARE SPAM NUMBER 1-800-532-4187

you need to print only in black if that is all the ink you have, and also you need to remove the color cartridge as it still registers in the printer as able to be used, although it is empty or near so. Did you remove the tape over the print head fron the new ink cartridge? Do a print head alignment, or use the toolbox icon to tell the printer that you just replaced the cartridge. Some HP models chip the ink cartridges so even a refill wont register as a full tank and the printer wont print. chip needs to be reset (difficult) or just replaced with a new cartridge.

Printer refills

Some refills won't work on some printers, because the printer actually reads a chip on the print cartridge, a good refil will have been reset, if you did it yourself, or if the company you bought it from did apply the chip reset device on it, the printer will never allow you to use it, thanks HP for the wonderful idea grrr. Be careful with refills anyhow, because some printers use easy clogging ink and refills can be dangerous.

New cartridge problems

I read that the cartridges have sensors in them from Dell. When you buy a reman cartridge of refill them, the printer is still picking up the same level as when it was empty. The only way I know to resolve this is to pay $$$$ more for the Dell cartridges.

Yet another reason I will never buy Dell again.
