SOURCE: won't start - will crank but won't fire

If the relay is working fine and you checked it the correct way, then there is a blown fuse or a bad connection in the circuit with either the positive side or negative side of the circuit in the harness.

SOURCE: My turn signal fuse blew

Hello! The Purple/Orange wire that runs from the fuse (#8) to the Turn signal flasher before it passes through the flasher and goes to the multi function switch Is grounded; either resistively or solid...If you have a multimeter and a wee bit of experience using it set it on the X10 ohm scale...Turn key off...Pull the fuse that blows...I believe #8...Read from the fuse side that connects to the Purple/Orange wire to ground...If you read to ground; Pull the flasher out and read again...If the ground remains with the flasher out the wire is grounded somewhere along the harness...If the ground goes away when you pull the flasher then the flasher is defective (not my first choice)...The best way to repair is to run a new wire from the fuse to the flasher and cut the Purple/Orange out...

Take this a step at a time and let me know what you find...Guru.............Saailer

Norcold fridge in my motorhome

Norcold fridges are now part ofThetford one of the largest suppliers of mobile and marine products. You do not quote the model so not sure if a 3 way (gas/mains/12v) or AC/DC. The most common problem with all mobile fridges is the heater unit is faulty. Thetford have discontinued spares for a large range of norcold models. Information can be obtained on the Thetfold.com website.

Hi...recently purchased a 2005 Roadtrek RV with a Dometic RM 2354 fridge in it...was getting things ready for camping and had the RV hooked up to 110 power...pushed on button for fridge and went through...

You said there was NO lights on the unit. The Dometic service manual says:

1. No operation - no panel lights: DC Volts

Fuse

Wiring

Upper Circuit Board

Lower Circuit Board

I would start with the DC volatage and track it back until you lose it. Most of the time it does end up being the lower circuit board though.

My SX30 IS turn on automatically while inside the box then just "die" down. As a result, the lens stuck up and the camera won't power up. My solution is re-charge the battery and it turns...

Hiof course not. you have a problem camera. like the type of problem it could involve several circuit trouble shoot. First power control pcb (dc/dc convertor), on/off control switch fpc, and main pcb. I suggest you to send canonUSA or your local repair shop. ( That must be under warrenty, it is pretty new product) Both place would take time in those type of problem. CanonUSA 2 to 3 week usuallly, local 1 to many week depand on what they want to repair.

Just bought a used 1987 Real-Lite truck camper. The roof air unit is Dometic as well as the LP/AC refrigerator. When turned to "cool" the air conditioner really draws down, dims the lights, and eventually...

To start with, if it's plugged in to a 15 amp breaker, and extension cord, the compressor starting up may just be enough to trip the breaker. It will draw close to 15 amps on start-up of compressor, and if there is a light extension cord used to plug it in, that only makes it worse. Make sure you shut all other breakers off in panel except AC, and try it. If you have water heater on hydro, fridge on hydro, and then try to start AC compressor, you'll be way over the 15 amps, especially if it's a light extension cord.
Keep in mind, in order for fridge to work, you need 12 volts DC (Battery) power going to back of fridge. If the controls aren't lighting up at top, you've most likely got no 12 Volt DC power going to fridge. Check all fuses as well.

Dometic refrigerator RM 2652 is not working

The fridge needs a 12 volt DC source to operate properly, which should be connected at the back of the fridge, outside behind cover. Check all fuses in your fuse panel as well. The upper controls are powered by 12 volt DC system, and that's what tells the fridge what to do.. (battery or converter)

Problem with the electric on fridge not working

Hello Paintinfool3,

I have worked on these in the DISTANT past...
They are a great CLASSIC design... Working on gas
means you are 90 to 95% all good

The electric comprises two basic elements
only confused because you have both AC & DC modes.

Just for simplicity sake the ELECTRIC section
(heater & thermostat) section in the BELOW begins
with SECTION 63...

You need a volt-meter with an OHM scale...
(the $9 kind... HARBORFRIEGHT gives away).

There is a yes/no trouble shooting guide.

Also CUSTOMER CONTACT numbers in the very back.
