Where can I get a diagram of the inside of a Shark Steam Mop, Model S3901

Unless you\'ve been using distilled water in this unit, it will be collecting a sort of scale layer of calcium, lime, etc, on the interior walls of the steam chamber. When you clean the unit, with a cleaner of your choice, you will get a lot of this stuff off and out when you drain, but frequently there will be a few small chips that will decide to break loose after the main loosening and draining. Sometimes one or more of these errant chips of scale will find it\'s way to the heat channel of the unit and won\'t let the heat out, even though you just cleaned it. If you have or can find, one of the large paper clips, bend one of the tangs out straight and use it to sort of bore out the holes in the bottom, this will sometimes help tremendously. Occasionally, a second dousing of the same treatment is in order, to pick up those last little left over pieces.

This should help you tear down the unit to a point where you can determine the cause of your problem. The wiring diagram is provided in the second image. You may need this diagram to check the wiring if the motor for the brushes is not running. You can view a parts diagram and order parts for the steam vac on the Sears PartsDirect website.

Your heater in the cleaner is either plugged or has quit working, make sure you are getting a good ground for the cleaner. you may want to check the ground pin on the cord and make sure it is not loose or broken.
