How do i fix a contour100 payphone it keeps saying emergence calls only and when u press the number keys it says barred ?

This happens when the phone has been deactivated by the service carrier. This could be due to:

  1. Non-payment of bill
  2. Transfer of service to another phone
  3. By request of the service subscriber (customer)
All operable cell phones can call emergency 911 numbers, whether activated or not.

If you are the cell phone subscribe you need to check with your carrier to find out why you are not active.
Otherwise, you need to talk to the service subscriber and determine if they had your phone disconnected or if there is a problem with the carrier that needs to be addressed by the subscriber.

o.k. do you know the location that you lost it?

try calling it and see if you can find it ringing anywhere.

if no luck, then call your service provider immediately. they can put a block on your number and deactivate your SIM so no one can run up a bill on your phone. They can also see where your phone has been used and what numbers have been dialed.

good luck

You should contact your wireless carrier immediately. If possible, find an old bill or login to the website and call the customer service number ASAP. They will deactivate the phone for you. No need to wait until you can go in person. Good luck!
