Generic problem for all Scanners

I just tried installing a luminox lxd...

I just tried installing a luminox lxdfi4030 on my computer but i get a message saying unknown usb device malfunctioned and windows dosen't recognise it then another saying unkown device driver installed successfully but when I try to use photo impression 6 it asks me to connect Omnivision CRS photo scanner. is the CRS and luminox the same machine or do I need a different driver for luminox. Hope you can help
