It will be somewhere between evaporator coil on firewall of said auto and back to the compressor, sometimes the low side fitting is on the compressor body itself, also low side port will have a blue colored cap on it and red for hi side if (your lucky) and not 2 black caps and its retrofitted for R134a refrigerant( hi side) will be from (condenser)on front of radiator to orfice tube/expansion valve just before evap coil

Hi, I am not sure where the low pressure port is, however, you can follow large line from the evaporator or the large line that comes off the compressor and you will come across it.

Where is the low pressure port on a '08 town and country LX V6 Flex fuel? trying to recharge a/c ..i found two dust caps, but unable to identify low port.

the low pressure port is always the smaller fitting on the larger line. The high pressure port is always the larger fitting on the smaller line. They do this so that it is impossible to place the low pressure fitting on the high pressure port.

AC Low Pressure location on 2004 Chevy Suburban

You find the AC low pressure at the top of the compressor, orientated toward you , facing the front of the vehicle. You can also follow the compressor line to reach the port.

The valve is covered a plastic cap covering it.
Near the compressor you find two ports, the high port and low port.

To find out which one is the low port, run the air conditioner for a couple of minutes withthe engine on.
Then turn off the care and touch the lines from compressor to the two ports covered with plastic caps. Only one of the pipes will be cold, the cold line will lead you to the low port.

Regards.

Location of the a/c low pressure port in a Isuzu trooper 91 v6

The low pressure side is the line that gets cold when the ac is running. It usually will have an inline dryer canister attached to it. Kind of about the size of a 16 ounce beer can. Close by you should see the port connection to add more freon or r-134 whichever your system uses.

Where do I recharge ac at

there are 2 ports one for low pressure and one for high pressure. the low pressure is bigger in diameter and is usually close to the dryer and or fender and firewall. the high pressure is near the condensor on the fron of the vehicle. if there are caps for the ports low will be blue and high will be red. low side pressure should be 35-50 psi and high pressure should be 135-150 psi

Looking for low pressure port for servicing Freon in A/C system for 1998 Chevrolet Suburban. There are 2 ports on top of compressor. Which is the low side and which is the high side?

The ports on my 2005 silverado are on the same line, which is very confusing but, in between the two ports is the metering device (orifice) which changes the high pressure gas into a low pressure gas.The two ports are of a different size, with the low pressure being the smaller of the two. You can put your hand on the line, on each side of the metering device connection and the high side will be hot and the low side will be cold
