SOURCE: bobbin tangles up thread and jams machine

Hi, Is it your bobbin thread or the top thread wrapping around the bobbin. I just got a used PE150. The top thread keeps wrapping around the bobbin. It is not picking up the bobbin thread. Did you find a solution for your problem?

SOURCE: Adjusting Bobbin Tension

I looked forever to find this darn green bobbin screw. Around the opening for your bobbin is a plastic cover. If you slide it forward it will pop right off. Once you remove this, the bobbin case will lift right out. On the front you will see your green screw for adjusting your bobbin tension.

I have a Baby Lock Audrey. The bobbin thread is "nesting". I have tried rewinding the bobbin and rethreading the needle and bobbin thread but that hasn't helped.

Check that it is actually the bobbin thread that is nesting. Generally, bobbin thread issues appear on the top of the fabric and upper thread issues appear on the underside of the fabric.

If it is in fact the bobbin thread, the bobbin thread tension may be off or malfunctioning.

If it is the upper thread nesting under the fabric:
1. Remove the thread
2. Install a brand new needle
3. ALWAYS RAISE the presser foot. This releases the thread tension so the thread will seat properly.
4. Rethread from the beginning and check the thread path is correct.
5. Set the upper tension at the midway point.
6. Check that the bobbin thread is loaded properly
7. Retest the machine.

If it continues to create thread nests under the fabric, tighten the upper tension.

How do I adjust the bobbin tension on baby lock elure plus

The owner's manual provides instructions for adjusting the tension by manipulating the upper tension to either tighten or loosen the upper thread:

However, here is a discussion about adjusting bobbin tension:

Be very careful adjusting the bobbin tension as it is very easy to over-adjust.

Bobbin jam babylock 1506

Ooo ouch! sounds like you have a pretty bad timing problem and or a damaged bobbin case. Since it is a baby lock I would suggest taking it in for repair.

3. change thread--use every thread guide
name of machine & model number is not shown
if this is a baby lock machine then go to the website & contact customer service about a manual

Upper thread keeps breaking bobbin thread grtting cut on bobbin,

you need to change your needle first. then if that does not work you may have a small area on your bobbin case that has been damaged

Not picking up the bobbin thread

Make sure the needle is facing the right way. If it's in backwards it won't pick up the bobbin thread.

Not picking up the Bobbin thread

Sounds like you have to take off the throat plate and clean out threads under it.  Sometime they ball up and prevent the needle from going down and catching the bobbin thread. You can't see themuntil you take off the plate.  Follow the directions.  It is easy.
