How to Reset Password Keeper?
The BlackBerry has become one of the most popular handheld communications devices in the world. It features a number of communications programs, such as email, text messaging, Internet browsing, voice and fax. BlackBerry phones also come with the "Password Keeper" program installed, which is used to allow you to password-enable your phone to prevent others from accessing your personal data. A common task that arises for BlackBerry users is resetting the Password Keeper on a BlackBerry in the event of either buying a used phone or forgetting your password.

Turn on your BlackBerry phone by depressing the "Green Phone" button on the front of the unit.

Depress the "*/Sym" key followed by the "Green Phone" button to access the "Password Keeper" program.

Enter the incorrect password 10 times in Password Keeper. After the 10th incorrect password entry, the Password Keeper program will be reset. You will not be queried to enter a new password after the 10th entry. The phone will reset, and you will lose all contact data on the phone; it will now be wiped clean.
