SOURCE: I'm trying to hang my 55

I am confused here!

if the studs (vertical parts of frams) are 40" apart and the noggins ( spreaders are say every 20" )

Why are you trying to find them at 16 and 24?

Is there some cultural labnguage difference here about what a stud is?

An alternate fix rather than 100 holes in the wall is to use butterfly bolts ( expander bolts) these can hold up to 150Kg in any veneer wall
If nescessary drill extra holes in the frame of the TV haqnging frame4 to add more expande4r bolts into the wall

How do you properly hang a mirror in a bathroom on a wall?

1. You should determine where you want the mirror to hang.

2. Make a small, light pencil mark on the wall immediately above the top and center of the mirror.

3. Determine if there is a stud at that location - or is close enough to still be an acceptable location for the mirror. If so, check the back of the mirror and got to step 4 - otherwise skip to step 8.

4. Measure from the top of the mirror to the hook, hanger or high spot of a wire if one is provided running from side to side.

5. Make a mark that is the same distance DOWN from the original mark on the wall.

6. Drive a nail or screw into the wall at the lower mark. Be sure that the nail or screw is long enough to get into the wood stud by at least 1-1/2" or more. Heavy mirrors should have heavy duty nails / screws that go deeper into the wooden stud.

7. Hang the mirror, erase visible marks - Done!

If there is no stud near the desired center location on the wall for the mirror,

8. You'll need to stretch and secure a wire between the left and right-most edges of the mirror - but the left and right-most edges should be at least 16" apart for this to work.

9. Project the mark you made in step 2 onto the closest stud to the left and to the right that you can locate These shouldn't be more than 16" from each other. Measure from the floor up or ceiling down to both of these marks to be sure both are the same height.

10. Perform step 4.

11. Perform steps 5 and 6 for each the two new marks you made in step 9.

12. Perform step 7.

Trying to mount a heavy piece of flat art on the wall, aproximately 72" x 48" and weighing 200 pounds. Trying to find a compatible hanging system

You need to know what the wall is made of - brick, block, concrete, plaster board, etc? Then go to a DIY store and ask - they'll advise you. If its an internal plaster-board wall then I doubt it will be strong enough. A while ago I hung a 4' x 3'6" mirror on a block wall using two fairly heavy duty rawl bolts and its still hanging.

Microwave installation under cabinet, no rear wall

Your model weighs 41 pounds empty.

That - plus maybe adding another 8-10 pounds for safety - us what your installation needs to be able to handle.

I would think the average cabinet could handle that, but it may be better to add a small steel plate or large washer surrounding the mounting screws to help disperse the weight load.

The owner's manual describes the installation kit you can use to mount it in a cabinet or in the wall, etc. That may be helpful.

If you don't still have your manual you can download it here.

We're happy to help and we appreciate your thoughtful rating of our answer.
