Question about Garden

I got a Huskee (MDT) riding Lawn mower. I tried it out before loading it on a trailer to move it about 75 miles. I had a couple of men unload and I didn't watch them to see if maybe they did someting wrong. NOW once it is unloaded and let sit overnight I can't get the tracktor to move forward or backward.

I am assuming that the lawnmower will start and run but that you are just not moving since you didn't indicate differently. As long as the parking brake is off (I'd bet it is if they were moving it, but get a quick look anyway) .You then probably need to reengage the drivetrain. They disengaged it while moving it most likely to be able to push it around easier to where you wanted it put. Look for a small lever on the lawnmower or look in your manual real quick as I don't know exactly what model you have and reengage it. Let me know how this turns out.

Sounds like a pulley key is missing. That will cause the pulley to spin on the shaft without the shaft turning.

Try rotating the engine manually to check for any binding. I would also check the amp draw on the starter.

Wont go and screeches when letting off clutch/brake

Take off the shift plate between you legs, put it in nuetral, crank up the engine, put speed lever in high gear and slowly let off on the clutch. Everything will work as if in gear, it just won't move. you should be able to see what the problem is. Which belt did you replace and why? Watch the varible speed pulley (the one both belts go around). The bearings may be bad in it and not letting it turn, thus, smoking the front belt.

It sounds like the seat switch is disconnected or failed. Check it out. If it thinks there is no **** on the seat it will cause your symptoms.
