Please ask this to the person who has taken the money out of your account, or contact your bank. We did not take any money, so we can't help on that. Check the URL on top of the page to see you are sending your question to the correct site. Thanks.

SOURCE: Why have I been charged 79 pounds for Amazon Prime from my credit card when I did not order it? Please give me a refund.

You can try talking to Amazon and your credit card. Only thing I really know for sure is that Fixya can't help by giving you a refund. We are all volunteers here, answering questions because we like helping people.
If I were to guess at "why", most likely you clicked on something when ordering like, "free 30 day Prime, get free shipping".

SOURCE: I have an unauthorised purchase on my credit card from Amazon Prime. I did not make this purchase and I am not a Prime member.

Call the credit card issuer right away and tell them about this. The phone number is on the card reverse.

Why do I have a 11.76 charge for Amazon Prime Membership when I never signed up for it?

We are Fixya, we are not Amazon.

Log into your account and see what the $11.76 is for. It seems an odd amount for Prime membership. Prime is $79 CDN, so $6.58 a month. When you last purchased something, the is a check box asking if you want a free trial of Prime. You had to uncheck it. It also links in to getting Free Delivery, and it is easy to mistake the Free Delivery for subscribing to the Amazon Prime Trial. You cancel Amazon Prime from within your account.

To cancel an Amazon Prime free trial, click Do not continue. Note: If you don't cancel your Amazon Prime free trial, you will automatically continue to a paid membership at the end of the trial period. You can find this date listed on the left-hand side of the Manage Your Prime Membership page.

Why did you charge me $99 on my credit card for a membership that I never wanted?

Fixya cannot assist you with this problem, as it has nothing to do with Amazon. You should contact Amazon customer assist on

https://www.amazon.com/gp/css/homepage.html/ref=hp_gt_ss_myac

by clicking on "Manage Prime membership". Also don't forget you can ask your credit card provider to reverse the charge as it was not authorised.

I'm billing billed on my credit card for amanzon prime

If you see a charge on your credit card from Amazon Prime, the first question I have is did you order something from them? If you did, have you received it? If you didn't, there are a couple of things to do. First I would call Amazon Prime, here is the customer service contact page off their website.
www.amazon.ca/gp/help/customer/display.html/ref=gw_m_b_he?ie=UTF8&nodeId=915404
call them and make sure the item on your credit card statement was not ordered by you or someone in your family, Christmas is around the corner. There should be a reference number on your statement to track the purchase transaction. Talk to them. If you didn't do the transaction they should know, they will be able to see if this seller is putting through a lot of fraudulent credit card purchases and if so shut them down. The next thing you will then have to do is call your credit card company and tell them your card information has been compromised. Check to ensure no other fraudulent transactions have been completed. The credit card company will have to cancel your card and send you a replacement, which will probably take 2 weeks to receive. The 1 800 number for the credit card customer service will be on the back of the card.
Good luck

I have just received my master card bill and in it I note MANY billing from amazon!! One billing is for $79.00 for AMAZON PRIME MEMBERSHIP 8665572820 NY for $79 dollars!!! I do not understand this!

Cynthia, Prime is Amazon's new membership platform where you pay fees. You must have activated that feature, hence the bill. Tell Amazon that you do or don't like that feature on your account and would request cancellation as it may have been an error. However, if you have utilized the prime function, you may not get full refund but act fast.
