It's possible it could be several things, the control board or relay could be bad, the compressor has a capcitor it uses to start, that might be bad, and last the compressor might be bad. Two things I just thought about, is the unit a heat pump or does it have heat strips for it's heat? Also if the freon pressure is low the compressor will not start. Unless you have the tools to check this out, it's kinda hard to tell

I have a 2002 Ford Escort, I have a problem with my heating, When the car is idelin, the heat works, but when you drive it it dosen't work. What could be the problem

thermostat needs changing idling mean no air flow. so it can heat up. driving the air flow cooling the front radiator cools the system down and you get no heat. your temp gauge will be moving about more than normal.

kohler engine air cool they will over heat if fuel system lean carburetor clogged out of adjustment causing lean fuel mixture, air cool engine need plenty air to keep cool, make sure air filter clean and make sure cooling fins not clogged with debris make sure shrouds and blower housing are tight so air can circulate. air cooling engines kinda remind you of 1963 corvairs

My acer 5738G overheats when i run flash files, reaches temperatures of about 90 deg C and powers off.

Acer laptops are well known for getting to hot, from your description the temperature is excessive and needs to be checked into. The only advice I can offer is remove the bottom to expose the heat sink and ports, any dust or dirt should be removed. Next remove the heat sink and wipe off the old conductive thermal grease from the processor and the heat sink. Now apply a fresh thermal paste before putting it back together, this will dissipate up to 50% of the heat and hopefully solve your problem, the only other thing you can check is to make sure the processor cooling fan is running properly because they have a high failure rate.

Heat stops working. No heat from heater on my 1999 S10 V6.. I have "burped the cooling system after which I get plenty of heat but eventually it stop working after driving 2-3 days. Should the heater...

Air is getting into the system. Tighten all hoses and do not overlook the hose going to the expansion tank. When car cools that hose sucks water back into system but if not tight it will suck in air. Could be why you constantly have to "burp" the system.

Took off thermal fuse dont know how to put back on dont know which wire is hot have now put on 2 fuses works 5 min then cools back down i think im putting on fuse wrong didnt know it had a certain way to...

A fuse has no directionality as the circuit is AC powered. You must have air flow over the heating elements to prevent overheating. Check the cleanliness of all air passages including the exit hose and exit vent. Wash the lint screen to remove fabric softener deposit which blocks air flow. Hope this helps!

The fan in my visio dlp56 tv is real loud when I turn on the tv how do I fix the problem.

make sure there is no dust on the fan or around it. It may be having a hard time pumping because of air flow restriction. If there is not dust and plenty of air flow, then I don't think there is anything you can personally do because the problem may be in the tv's motherboard software setup

Frigidaire Electric Dryer sometimes does not produce enough heat

Check all the airways intake and exhaust so there is plenty of air circulating on the unit. check and clean filters and do not over fill. its usually a fixed TC that switches the heater on and off, if theres not a good air flow the TC will not cool quick enough to switch the heater back on.

Over heating

Ventilation is better if it is sittion horizontally, as opposed to vertically. Also, keep it off carpet and give it plenty of room to breathe. Make sure the vent is clean and clean the area regularly to keep dust away. Also, make sure the fans are working. You can also buy the cooler that sets under it to help keep it cool, though a regular fan usually works and is much cheaper.
