Question about Motorola Computers & Internet

I can connect to Lorex via network but not over internet

I set up DDNS account. I have gone over the system settings repeatedly. I am wondering if the problem is in my Netopia router? I tried setting ''pinholes'' (same as ports?) and did not get any errors. Is there something missing. I am supposed to have a static IP for my internet -- but do I need to do more?

We just set up our Lorex LHV1000 8 channel system but the dvr won't stop beeping. How do I make it stop? We only have 4 cameras in use but we tried plugging all 8 in to see if that was the problem but it...

Might be too late... but it beeps if its not hooked up to internet. So to stop it from beeping either connect it to ethernet cable in back, or you can turn off beeping in menus- its i believe settings, event, network- then unclick the box thats there

I am not able to view my business from home I have Lorex

Hi,

When you are at business, you are probably accessing the network locally.

When you reach home, you are accessing it via internet.

What you need to do is to set up the router to direct the incoming requests to the dvr ip address. It is called creating a virtual server.

You may want to subscribe to a DDNS service if your ip keeps changing. Businesses normally have a static ip but not if you have a normal dsl connection.

My sentinel cctv when powered on all the indicator lights flash on and off and there is a clicking sound. Any idea what the problem is?

hello sunrisepmp, i bought the model lorex l19wd and i have some problems with the remote connection. i can`t view my cameras remotely...

Locally everything work perfect but when i try to establish a remote connection, the lorex client 7.0 tell me that the connection is sucessfully but i can`t see any image.

I`ve a linksys wrt54G router and a speedstreem 4200 modem, i connect the system directly to the modem, also i create an DDNS Account (i had a doubt about the mac adress that you have to put at the form, i filled with the mac of the system) and i configured the system with the information that you sent me to my email, like the manual said...

Thank You
