What is a E-1 code for an ACCU-CHEK meter?

"E-1" in the display means the test strip may be damaged or the code key is incorrect. Remove and reinsert the test strip.

What does E-7 mean?on my accu chek meter after inserting strip with blood?

It can mean one of a couple of things:
~An error occurred, when this happens you should turn it off, reset the unit, and turn it back on after at least 20 seconds have passed. You can also remove the battery and put it back in if you don't want to reset the meter
~You need to run a control test with control solution to realign the machine
~You inserted a used test strip or faulty test strip into the meter, try another strip

Accu Check Active showing Trouble E-1

The electronic error code refers to either
  1. your glucose level may be extremely high or a meter or a test strip error has occurred.due to insufficient blood sample on the test strip.
  2. A used test strip was removed and reinserted.
  3. The test strip may be damaged or not properly inserted
Try turning the meter off and on or take the battery out for a few seconds and try testing glucose levels again. In any event, check your meter's manual; if unavailable- you can download an electronic version of the manual from the manufacturer's web site; or some meters you can browse the info from your meter's screen menu.
Other options, replace the battery with a new one or perhaps your meter has met its end-of-life usage.
Be well!

Is it possible that you are using the wrong machine for your strips? Those machines all look so much alike.

Please tell me what the code E-5 means. It shows up on my accu-chek compact plus meter

The information you need is in the reference guide for your meter.

The reference guide can be downloaded from
https://www.accu-chek.co.uk/gb/products/metersystems/compactplusgt.html > Related Products

if you have the blue/silver front version (and probably also if you have black version) of the meter, E-5 means
"The measurement optics are dirty or you

have inserted a test strip that has already

been used or is too old. Clean the

measurement optics (Chapter 7.1) and

repeat the test with a new Accu-Chek
Active Glucose test strip."
