Question about GE Washing Machines
I have a GE WSSH300G Front load washer. It drains ok first load, but then not again until next day. Thinking its the filter I heard about, but can not figure out how to remove front. do I have a removable front kickplate on this machine?
It's not the filter....my washer would not drain too, and I called in GE service (within my warranty). The guy pulled out socks from the pump. Unscrew the front, lift it, then open that pump up (not easy as I watched). He took out the socks, and then the water drained quick and my washer spins like new. He showed a gap between the drum and the rubber seal that was just big enough to have socks or underwears slide through. The likely cause is when the washer shakes while on high spin....hope that helps all of those who's washer can't drain.

You should have one. Get down low, and look at the kickplate. You should see screws just below the main front panel of the machine.
