Question about Philips 50PF9630A 50 in. Plasma Television
I have a relatively new 50 inch Philips Plasma HDTV connected through an HMI connection to a Scientific Atlanta Cable box with Comcast cable service. On occasion, when I turn the TV on - there will be no audio. I need to turn the TV off and on multiple times to get the audio to come on. The last time this happened, I had to reboot the entire system (box and TV) to get the audio to come on. Comcast ran diags (remotely) on the box and found no problems. As this TV weighs a ton, and the problem is intermittent - I am reluctant to bring it in for service. It is still under a one year warranty. Any ideas?
Try swapping the HDMI cable. They occassionally fail.
