Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
Good day I have an OKI C6100n printer and find it prints Very good, but my problem for the third time in a year the yellow and magenta drums is not allowing me to finish the toner after the use of about 60%
I am having some big streaks, upon viewing the drums the ink is not spreading smoothly over the roller of the drum.
NB there are no streaks in the drum. My name is Doreen and some one in new york does my ordering for me. Thanks as I await your replycribe your c6100 okidata drum problem Proble
Open the top cover, there are 4 black leds above the drums attached to the upper cover, these can get toner on them and cause streaks as they are what write to the drum. wipe them with a dry cloth and see if that helps

Tips for a great answer:
Feb 10, 2011 | OKI C6100n Laser Printer
Sep 16, 2010 | OKI C9300 Led Printer
Feb 10, 2010 | OKI C6100n Laser Printer
Oct 22, 2009 | OKI C6100n Laser Printer
Nov 28, 2008 | OKI C3400n Laser Printer
If the optics are clean (use lint free cloth on 4 rows of black thingys underside of lid)
Then it sounds like the yellow drum needs to be replaced, when printing in word I'm guessing that you have it set to B/W prints hence no colour is engaged, no lines
