Question about Heating & Cooling
No cool air but compressor working
Okay compressor will always work... there is a clutch behind pulley wheel if no or low Freon in system clutch will keep trying to engage but wont... so in your case 1 system needs to be recharged... on clutch needs replacing.. or there is 2 safety switches one on the low side and 1 on the high side... anyway unless you are an mechanic then you can't fix it need special tool and will cost more to buy tools
you can't release the used Freon into the air it against the law... if its the its easier to replace whole compressor with clutch already installed no special tools needed but system need to be discharged which you cant do.. also special tool needed to look for and find leaks...
