Just fixed a similar problem on an AEG F3A by following other advice on this site. Simply tip the machine forwards on to its door (best empty it of crockery first!!!).and then put it upright again when water has stopped dripping out of it. You wil get quite a bit of water on your floor which I reduced by pumping the water out of the salt resevoir first - but if you don't have a pump just have several towels handy

SOURCE: AEG 60830 Leak prevention system
Just pulled machine right out, tipped it over on the side, couldn't see anything obvious or a way "in", so re-positioned it - switched on - error message gone and all working fine !!?!

If you open a sidepanel and look at the bottom of the machine you see a brown device with a piece of white foam, this is the leak prevention system.
Push foam down and the error code should be cleared.
Make sure you there's no water left on the bottom of machine

Hello, I am going to go out on a limb here and risk a bad feedback score but I have seen this many times in the past few years and have even made the mistake of replacing the EOC (Electronic oven control) when the EOC was not the problem, Reading between the lines with no model number I'm going to assume you got the error code for a bad EOC which is why the repair guy changed it. Well the second one could be bad too but I seriously doubt it. To me after changing the EOC and it still don't work the problem is going to be with the touch pad if it has one (be mindfull I dont have model number so I don't know other then electrolux which oven this is). The way to test this diagnosis is to turn the power off...Remove the ribbon/cable harness from the touchpad to the EOC. Switch power back on and wait 24 hours. If Error code does not return it's the touch pad, if within the 24 hour period the error comes back it's the EOC. Can't be any easyier then that to figure which it is and any tech worth his salt would know that. Hope this helps some, Maybe you can try it while you are waiting for the new part. Good Luck!! if you have any further questions or concerns please feel free to comment again. Mike

This is typical of the anti-flood circuit that opperates once it detects water on the base of the machiene and is a polystireen float that activates a micro switch. This puts the machiene in pump out mode only. You need to determine if the water at the base of machiene is caused by a small leak or is it a customer spillage. Clearing the water (tip to side) or dry with paper towel and inspect for leaks. Rectify the leak and this should solve the problem.
