The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Copy video dvd-r to blank cd-r

You won't have any luck doing that. First off, CDs [including CD-Rs] can only hold 70 Mb of data. DVDs can contain anywhere from 4.7 Gb to 50 Gb of data. That amount depends on if the DVD is a single layer, dual layer, BlueRay or High Capacity BlueRay disc. Therefore, a CD simply does not have enough storage capacity to hold the info on a DVD.

Why has the heater quit and blows only cold air on passenger side of my dual climate control on Buick Lucerne

Sounds like a a venting problem. Most cars up until now days and some still do use vacum assist to change venting from hot to cold and changing different vent configurations. So you have a vacuum leek somewhere in the system. If they are mechanical then its a fuse most likely . also in older cars there were cable system's witch controlled everything. If you here hissing sounds you know you have a vacuum leek somewhere in the system. If there is a worrying sound something is jammed up mechanical problem. It's a needle in the hay stack sometimes trying to figure out and you have to do it by deduction to figure out what the real problem is. Good luck

The right side Pitch slider knob is broken on my GemSound CMP 1200 MIDI. Can it be repaired and what will it cost?

When you say "broken" do you mean the entire slider or just the knob? Because if it's just the knob, you can just take it to an electrical parts shop such as Maplin (UK) or Radio Shack (USA) and find something similar or that matches it. Ask the assistant if for help if you can't find it. If it will fit, but doesn't match, buy two so that you can match them up. They shouldn't be expensive.

If the controller is broken you might have to find a dealer who repairs that brand. As it's not a widely known brand you might have to pay a bit more, being less competition around.

Pitch control doesn't work

Make sure that the "Pitch" button is turned on (LED is lit) before trying to change the pitch. If it is, make sure that it's not disabled in the settings.

Gemsound power speaker pxa105

Disconnect any input cables from the amp. Turn down the volume controls and disconnect the speakers. Power back on. If you still blow fuses with nothing hooked up, have the amp fixed.
If the fuse holds, shut down and connect the speakers, leaving the volume controls down. Power up and see if your fuse holds. If you have hum, an output transistor is most likely shorted. If you have no noise, SLOWLY turn up the volume controls and listen for the hum. If all is quiet, turn down the volume controls and connect your input cables and turn the volume back up. Noise? check your cables!
