Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

SOURCE: tiger shark has bubbles coming out of top but will not move

Something is caught in the tracks that make it move. Look under the blue track that move it. I had the same problem and found a rubber swim mask headband all caught in the tracks. I had to take the side panel off...6 screws on the inside you can see when you take the filter out and removed it and now it works fine.

Decrease suction on main drain and increase suction to cleaner.

SOURCE: I lent my tiger shark

No. The unit 'learns' the pool based upon time recorded in the horizontal and vertical positions while cleaning. It will work, although perhaps not as well as in a rectangle-shaped pool, without any further action than dropping it in and powering it up.

I lent my tiger shark to my sister who has a kidney shaped pool, mine is rectangle. Is any reprogramming required since the pool shapes are different?

If I were in your place I would try it like it is and if it doesn't work well enough I would reprogram it. If it works will enough then when you bring it home no additional programming will be required.

I hope this helps.

Was the store able to scan the motor to pull out operational info? Was it water tested prior to being returned to you? Perhaps the store will make accomodations to get it returned and repaired correctly?

My bull shark does not move around anymore. I was advised I had to put weights on it but all this does is keep it in one area of the pool. There is a suction noise at the weir as well. What could be the...

Slow moving or stationary cleaners usually do not get enough suction from the skimmer. Inspect the hose to skimmer weir connection for leaks - sometimes the hose end can be worn or cracked, allowing it to **** air. Check the hose for obstructions and check the hose connection to the cleaner. Lastly, if all suction hose items check out okay, check the drive belt tension and condition.

The motor pack is having trouble and will need to be replaced (most likely). For help finding a service center that can perform the inspection and repairs check Hayward's site at http://www.haywardnet.com/locator/ and fill in the information requested. Be sure to select product repair or service and robotic cleaners to limit the response to those able to fix these cleaners. We are in S.E. Michigan and are one of the centers for Tiger Shark cleaners.
