Question about Computers & Internet
There is a spray you can get that you spray the feathers with to get rid of mites on birds.
Talk to your local vet they would sell it.

I live in Australia so the set up may be different. I rang a few local vets and none sells sprays for chickens. They told me to contact farm/pet produce stores. Both local pet produce stores recommend a powder called 'Pectene' (like talcum powder but yellowy/light brown colour). You sprinkle it onto the birds, rub into their skin. Sprinkle it also to their nesting boxes. As for the coop they recommended sprinkling hydrated lime or DE (diatomaceous earth) on the ground to dry out the moisture and to kill any hatchlings.
After consulting a friend who keeps chooks, she recommended the same treatment for the chickens. She also recommended using slow release insecticide pressurised can for treating infested rooms in the house. These can be purchased from local supermarkets. My husband and I did some research on the web and, after treating the chickens and their coop, we deloused ourselves and washed everything washable in the rooms using some of the tips from link below:https://dengarden.com/pest-control/invis...
Thanks Brett for pointing me to the vet who then pointed me to the produce stores.

bitten by fleas but generally cat flea cannot be sustained and infest humans.
However, if the female flea is allowed to feed for twelve consecutive hours on
a human, it can lay viable eggs.

The single bird cage comes in a variety of sizes and
is suitable for only one bird. Check bar spacing and the width of your bird's
wing span to determine the best bird cage fit. Elevate this bird cage to sit at
a human's chest level.

It is; however it is crucial that you know what they
can/cannot eat. Some human foods that
you should avoid giving your dog are cheese, hot dogs, chocolate, crackers, and
cookies. There are many others, you
should educate yourself before giving something harmful to your dog. Foods that are a good treat include carrots,
apples, lean meats, poultry and seafood.
You should never feed your dog raisins, grapes, garlic or onions - they can be poisonous to dogs.
