    In the invers variation function, what happens to the output when the functions input is multiplied by 3?

    From y=k/x one gets y*x=k =constant.
    If you multiply the input x by 3 what happens to y?
    Let us call x' the new input value, and y' the corresponding output value. Then
    x'*y'=k
    Substitute 3x for x' and solve for y'
    (3x)*y'=k thus y'=1/(3x)=(1/3)*(1/x),
    But 1/x is the old output value y. y'=(1/3)*y
    Conclusion
    When you multiply the input by 3, the output is DIVIDED by 3, so as to maintain the product (input*output) equal to the constant k

    I have a LG LHB335 Blu-Ray home theater system, & a LG TV I can get Full surround sound when the blu-ray is play a DVD but not when just watching Reg TV. I use a HDMI, should I hook up sonething else ?...

    LG documentation states:

    When you use SIMPLINK function, you have to

    connect to the OPTICAL IN 1 jack to enjoy TV
    sound to your speaker system.

    Basically you need to have the Audio go from TV to receiver and setup receiver to that Input to output surround sound to all speakers.

    If you have a cable box or satellite receiver, hook that output into the receivers input and that should work.

    My setup is DirectTv HDMI output goes into the LG Home Theater HDMI Input 1, and LG goes HDMI output into the TV HDMI input 1.
    so to watch DirectTV, I switch LG Home theater to HDMI Input 1. and TV is on HDMI input 1 (to view LG HDMI output from DriectTV, Blu-Ray, Vudu, etc.)

    Hi,

    Basically the wiring of the large harness corresponds to the pins like this.

    Starting in the upper right hand corner and working down the right side from A12 down to A1.

    1=Left rear output-red
    2=Left rear output-blue
    3=Right rear output-black
    4=Right rear output-yellow
    5=empty
    6=Left front input-black
    7=Left front input-yellow
    8=Left rear input-orange
    9=Left rear input-green
    10=Amp 'ON'-blue&orange
    11=empty
    12=Amp sensor-black&orange

    Back up to upper left hand corner on the large plug

    13=Right front tweeter output-red
    14=Right front tweeter output-blue

    20=Right rear input-blue
    21=Right rear input-red
    23=Right front sub (+) output-yellow
    24=Right front sub (-) output-black

    The small harness is the same above with the upper right position being pin 1 going down to pin 4 then back up to the top for pin 5 down to pin 8.

    1=Memory Power-Lrg White
    2=Amp Ground- Lrg Black
    3=Left front sub (+)output-yellow

    How to connect mixer to a crown power base 2 amp and speakers

    just use the main left and right outputs of the behringer to run xlr (3 prong balanced) to 1/4 inch (looks like a big headphone plug) cables into the inputs of the crown amp. the mixer has the xlr outputs and the amp has 1/4 inch inputrs, sop the cables will have to reflect that on both ends. run the outputs of the amp (rca outputs, i believe, you may have to get a rca plug to 1/4 inch jack adapter, and then use a 1/4 inch speaker cable) to the inputs of the speakers, again, the amp has rca outputs and the speakers will likely have 1/4 inputs, so you will have to address that wil an adapter. have each speaker in its own channel.

    5.1

    Dear wayne,
    Please locate audio input socket on your TV, Then Connect audio output of DVD recorder to this input socket. The optical output of TV goes to input of amp. Since the DVD recorder is connected to the TV and TV's out put connected to the Amp. Now the sound signals from tv and as well from DVD will be 5.1 surround from the amp.
    If any case this does not solve your problem, please mail me the photo of the back side of TV's connections at my mail.
