How to adjust transmission chain adjustment on r72 john deere

First verify the number of links. 102 links of number 420 chain including the master link.

Check the condition of the sprockets. Badly worn sprocket teeth will cause loose chains. Other than look to see if the mounting area are slotted so thing be moved a little apart.

Chain is wedged behind sprocket

This is usually the result of the chain having too much slack to begin with, and the followers that ride in the groove of the bar go off their track. The best remedy is to first disconnect the spark plug, then loosen the chain tensioner screw, and remove the two nuts holding the bar in place, then with a heavy glove on your hand, work the chain out from behind the drive sprocket.

Reassemble it, and set the chain tension properly so the followers stay in their groove, but not so tight that you cause excessive wear. It's also a good idea to inspect the chain oiler to ensure it's not blocked by debris while you have it apart.

Have hampton bay add on remote control kit on patio ceiling fan. Battery died in the remote, so kid turned fan off with pull chain. replced battery, now cant get fan to work on any pull chain settings....

The pull switch in the fan may be broken in the off position. Luckily these are easy to replace. Purchase a new switch. Obtain a wire stripper and phillips screwdriver. Lower the light (if installed) or the blank by removing the screws. Disconnect light if installed. Unscrew nurled knob on fan switch and remove switch. Make note of where the wires go, I take a picture with my cell phone. Cut wires off as close to the old switch as you can. Strip about 1/4 to 3/8 inch of the insulation off the end with the wire stripper. Insert into the appropriate hole in the switch. Nothing to tighten to lock down here, it will hold it. Reinstall switch and light and test for proper operation.

Whenever I ride my 26"

The most likely cause of this problem is that the back wheel is not in straight. If you loosen the 2 nuts that hold the wheel in you'll be able to align it with the chain. When you stand behind the bike the wheel and chain should be parallell.

You should also keep the chain oiled as it helps to stop it hopping across the gears.

The xjr is 2007 model with 20000km has a rattling noise comming from alternator, checked bearings, clutch all ok , seams like the timing chain or the chain driving alternator , could this be possible as...

Is the primary chain the correct tension? That will give that sound. otherwise the stator could be loose? Who knows. Take the side off and have a look, it would be a very expensive job if it fell apart whilst riding!!

Broken light switch chain

Open the fixture where the switch is and see if the chain is broke or just needs a connector to put the chain back together. If you can't do this, just take switch to a place that would sell them, hopefully
you have a hardware store,I hate home depot. Cut the 2 wires,
install new switch, connect wires, wrap with elec tape.
