SOURCE: 5 year old Rancilio Silva with no heating of water

Hi
Do an ohms check on the element. With an ohms meter check the reading between the elements. The reading should be between 12 and 16 ohms for a 110v machine and 50 to 60 for a 220v machine. If you have no reading or a higher reading you have a bad element.

SOURCE: Have Viking 990 and feed

Is it that the feed dogs won't go up and down, or that you can't adjust the stitch length? If the feed dogs won't go up and down after you have released the feed dog button and cycled the handwheel one revolution, than there is a mechanical adjustment needed. I the stitch length can't be ajdusted, that It's either a circuit board of a step motor problem. The repair shop should be able to tell you that they swaped the feed motor with the zig zag motor to test this issue.

My dryer is not working, a repair man said that

Its sad to say. But most of the new machine's break in the first 2 to 5 years. your console probably is electronic. I did a washer today that was only 3 years old and had same problem $297.00 for the repair.

If we can help you with something. let us know. Make sure to give us the model and make of your machine.

Have a good day

Make sure that there are no wires connected to the G terminal on the circuit board. There is a blower relay on the circuit board that is probably bad, replace board.

Fisher and Paykel IW810AU fault code 105

I have found out from a repair agent that the fault code means there is no or corrupted communications between the display and motor drive module.

It may be simple as a loose cable, if the washing machine has been moved recently.

In my case I have a very slow little leak in the hot water solinoid (Bad spelling I know) thus causing it to leak on the circuit board and over time rust the connections. Basically my machine was not worth repair as the main circuit board was a tad too expensive. It was still cheaper than a new one (even after all the extra costs were put into consideration, ie - Labor and transport costs) but my machine is 8 years old and I thought for an extra couple of hundred dollars I could get a new one with warranty.

I know there are people out there bagging these machines, but 8 years out of a item (without any servicing) that uses moving parts, electricity and water is pretty good.

Hope this helps?

cheers

Dave

Z50PX2D 50 in. HDTV... Problem

You have a problem with the STK convergence modules. They're on the center circuit board attached to an aluminum heat sink that's about 8" long and 6" tall. You may be able to recreate the problem (hour glass effect) by gently moving the heat sink (which the modules are connected to). This gives the hour glass effect on the picture and the advanced convergence screen. This is an indication that the modules pins aren't solidly connected (meaning soldered) properly. Remove the circuit board and clean the old solder off & resolder the modules pins to the circuit board reconnected the board and then retest by again pushing on the heat sink. The "factory" job was good enough for 3-4 years but the heat (and these modules do create a lot of heat) and stress created from repeated use eventually takes it's toll, weakens the pin connections and our problem occurs. take the appropriate cautions working around the high voltage of the set.
If soldering doesn't help, then the modules have died and need replacing. Don't buy the $10 cheap ones. Most of them have an upgraded version that is stronger. Also look for any burned resistors in the vicinity of the modules.
Best of luck, hope ya fix it.

Convergence in and out?

You need to re-solder the circuit board that contains the STK convergence modules. They're on the center circuit board attached to an aluminum heat sink that's about 8" long and 6" tall, about dead center in the circuit board. This is a caused by a minimum effort (a.k.a. minimum cost) solder job, probably done in some 3rd world sweat shop. The "factory" job was good enough for 3-4 years but the heat (and these modules do create a lot of heat) and stress created from repeated use eventually takes it's toll, weakens the pin connections and our problem occurs. take the appropriate cautions working around the high voltage of the set & use a non-conduting piece of wood to push the heat sink when we doing tests. Best of luck, hope ya fix it.

If the display works, but the machine doesn't fill, wash, or pump out, the control board is the only component that could cause all these symptoms.
