Hello Vin, I'm the also one who are using Kindle fire device from last two years and i also remove these pre-installed apps from my device by the help of support and help team of kindle. but you can remove these apps without taking help from them, so you can try these points;

From the "Home" screen, open "Settings".

Choose "Apps & Games".

Select "Manage All Applications".

Swipe over to the right to show "All" apps.

Select the app you wish to remove, then select "Uninstall".
