for sending text messages : 1.go to your message settings and check the message center number to see if it is correct 2. call to your network operator customer care 3. request the message center number... 4.note it down 5. go to message settings>message center number 6. insert the number which is noted by you and save it
Please call up your service provider and check if the message center number is the correct number that is put into the phone specially if you have changed any operators.
Once this is correct then the SMS must work.
Open messages,scroll and open message settings, open message center and put in the correct number.
actually your network service provider gives you message center number. call their customer care to get the msg center no. put it in msg center box.. and everything will work fine.
Try checking the SMSC (Message Center Number) number configured on your phone. If the Message Centre number is not configured or wrong then you will not be able to send..but you can receive.
Check... is there any setting called Inbox Setup in Message menu, then Text msg Setup -> Use GPRS -> NO
